World Class GURUKUL, making new National Educational Environment same as IB league ones.

Placements: Since currently I am doing B.Tech Chemical Engineering from SNU and I am in second year, I have placement records of senior batch that is good till now. It is multi-disciplinary university, so we get many other opportunities from other departments too- one can work on literature, robotics, singing, sports at the same time while doing his technical core course. Along with wide range and variety of opportunities, we have an open and liberal environment to share our thoughts and views, acts and hence it prepares individual to develop his or her overall personality. In first year only my friends won national and international level prices in robotics.

Infrastructure: We have 24*7 Wi-Fi available in whole campus- be it anywhere in the campus. The labs and libraries are world class. All classrooms, lab and library are full AC. I could find each and every book which I required from library only. Hostels rooms are very good - there are of two kinds: AC and Non AC, it depends on the person what he wants, housekeeping are available all the time. There is laundry system too. Medical facility is provided by Blue Circle. Canteen is very nice, even almost all food menu are satisfactory. You can get 5 time meal a day. World class sport facilities have been provided here. All the games and related infra is available and accessible to all. Even here 5 horses are also present. Horse riding is taught to interested students. ISC (Inter Sports Complex ) is the greatest attention seeker, its excellent I will say.

Faculty: World Class faculty members are there who are very much supportive. They have wide range of knowledge and creative ability to engage the students in the studies for hours. We have Opportunities for Undergraduates Research programme where students from second year onwards are allowed and appreciated to take up research work in their area of interest under some faculty and there papers are published too. The course content is so made that students are industry ready. The are often taken to industrial sites by the faculty members. They are appreciated to spend most of their time in labs. The semester exams automatically becomes easy once the content is taught properly, hence my point says the test are easy. Faculty makes it sure that every student is able to do good in exam so I have not found any student failing.

Other: Since college focuses on maintaining student-faculty ratio rational and cool, in my batch there are only 22 students. I chose this course because I have a great interest in chemical industries and even I love Chemistry. My Course is a unique one where we are specialised in almost everything be it related to mechanical, computers, industries, electronics, civil etc. In some or other way. If AI becomes part of it, it would become the greatest rising course in terms of economy and ecology. There are societies, clubs and groups for every course and anyone can be the part of any department or club. Its helps in keeping good connection with our seniors too. There are lot of cultural activities going on now and then. Breeze is yearly the greatest even of the event list.

Shiv Nazar University- a melting pot of academia.

Placements: Around 50% students were placed in my batch. The highest salary (CTC) offered was Rs. 16L per annum and the lowest was Rs. 2L per annum. Average ranged around Rs 5-6L per annum. Companies like Oyo, Cognizant, Saint Gobain, HCL were the major recruiters. Companies for internship include DMRC, Indian Oil, NCL.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are top notch. The labs and classrooms are equipped with the latest technological equipments for ease of study. The mess food is very good. There is an on campus doctor available for medical emergencies. Extra curricular activities are given utmost importance.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. They have deep understanding of the subject they are teaching. Many of them are notable alumni of elite colleges of India and abroad. They have a work experience which helps the students gain industry knowledge along with academic knowledge. The curriculum is set according to the needs of the industry and updated from time to time. Difficulty level and the course content are apt for each semester.

Shiv Nadar University is for the students and by the students.

Placements: Overall campus placement for 2017 batch is 80% and still companies are coming to hire students. Placements are being conducted by career development center which provides information about companies and trains students for upcoming placement sessions through mock exams and mock interviews. Overall campus placement is quite good and companies are showing more interest for such students who have specialization in other fields too. Companies will start coming in the month of September (7th semester) till the convocation of the passing of batch.

Infrastructure: Best infrastructure with a fully residential complex for students and separate residential complexes for faculty and staff. The campus has 2 natural water lakes with one bio-diversity park and has a total land of 286 acres. The campus is under fully functioned Wi-Fi zone. Lush green gardens and one archeological site inside the campus. The university has one 3-floor library, 4 academic blocks and one research block of 2 floors. Soon there is one more big construction coming to an end which will bring school of law in existence.

Faculty: All faculty members are from top institutions, mainly from IITs and mainly are from research field in their core domain. And course curriculum is designed in such a way that if a student is pursuing major in engineering then one can do his/her minor in other fields like economics, management, art and design etc. There are plenty of other courses which are offered by the university under university-wide electives.
