It is a good college for a student who wants to shine in life.

Placements: Best for campus interviews and company life, it is an IT field-based, where mostly campus interviews happen. Also, a student got placed through this campus interview in Japan for a package of 14 LPA. So, actually, it’s above average in placements compared to SRM. Thank you.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not actually bad, it's average, that's it, because the students roam anywhere they want, so only the food is okay. Safety is one hundred per cent on my campus, so it's actually good and quite a well-maintained campus, and the hostels in SRM are good.

Faculty: Overall, the faculty in SRM is friendly. There are no complaints about the teaching of the faculty, so it’s a good thing about this campus of SRM. They are all well-trained and well-experienced staff in my department, and they do their best to make the students' lives better.

SRM: A Best Life I Had Never Seen. Thank you to my parents for joining me in this college.

Placements: 85 students were placed on campus. His package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average is about 6 LPA. Top recruiters are tcs accenture icici city union wipro rbs offered management trainee positions to freshers. Employees after training become executives based on their knowledge.

Infrastructure: The college campus is nice, with excellent organizational structure and climate. Wi-Fi facilities are good. Classrooms are well cleaned, the library is big and clean, and the auditorium is spacious and clean. You can thoroughly enjoy the academic environment.

Faculty: The teaching is done by experienced teachers. The knowledge provided is understandable, and the syllabus is easy to follow. The examination consists of 50% internal and 50% external marks. The internal assessments include Cycle Test 1, Cycle Test 2, and the Model Exam. The Viva is considered internal, while the semester exam is external.

Other: Commerce students typically choose either CA, B.Com, or BBA, with most opting for B.Com, which is why I chose B.Com. Improvements will be made consistently, and the events will be grand.

SRM is not worth the hype, an average university, but it's seriously not worth the money you invest.

Placements: Auditing, GST filing, and mostly lower-paid roles in small startups are offered. They also get a placement fee, which is also high. Roles are not the same every time they change, and sometimes people just decline offers because the pay is very low, so the placement is not good.

Infrastructure: The college has no parking facilities, no Wi-Fi signal, is under construction every day, and has poor parking management. Students always face struggles and jams near the parking space, some leave their vehicles off campus. The food canteen is so bad.

Faculty: College has good staff and a good depth of teaching. The good factor about SRM is their staff, who are obviously good at teaching, kind, and helpful. But the knowledge that you gain in class is so little that it can go nowhere. Before semester exams, you will really have good guidance from your respective staff.

Other: It is good for intercollegiate events. There are a lot of clubs in various departments. Only with curiosity and one's own interest can one be active, otherwise, one might be bored in college. Students have to actively participate in events, if not, the college might not have any events.

It is a brief experience of my college life.

Placements: Almost 100% of placements are in SRM University, so one need not worry about the placements for freshers in SRM University. TCS and Accenture top companies come and recruit the students in the campus interview. The salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good. They provide good quality food and good quality rooms to students who stay in the SRM hostel. There will be safety for students who stay in the campus hostel. They help students whenever they seek for help.

Faculty: Many staff working in SRM University are well-professional staff. They guide the students and help students during their academic. They treat a student like their own kids. They support them at any time and boost their self-confidence.

Other: Many events are conducted by SRM to boost and relax their students. They provide opportunities for students in the culturals to student showcase their talents on the stage.

Placements: SRM College of Commerce and Finance has truly shaped my academic and professional journey. As a part of the 2024 batch of B.Com in Accounting and Finance, I experienced an excellent placement drive where 98% of students were placed in top companies. The highest package offered was 18 LPA, with the lowest being 4 LPA and an average of 8 LPA. Renowned companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, Goldman Sachs, and HDFC Bank recruited from our campus, offering roles such as Financial Analyst, Investment Banker, and Tax Consultant. Internships were equally impressive, with 95% of students gaining opportunities in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS. The college provides a perfect blend of academic learning and practical exposure, supported by knowledgeable faculty and a vibrant campus environment. I am proud to call myself a student of SRM College and believe it has prepared me well for my future endeavors.

Placements: Placements in our college are very high, with around 20 to 25 companies visiting the campus, such as Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and HCL. Students need to maintain around an 8 CGPA, with no standing backlogs or current arrears. They must maintain around 70% - 75% on school days. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruitment is from Bangalore, India. Internship opportunities are provided by the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is neat and tidy. It provides two libraries and four canteens. Outside the campus, there are many hostels available for students. There is a hostel within the college that charges around Rs. 1 lakh separately for males and females. Food is available in the mess. There is a bus service provided, and medical benefits, such as dental checkups, are free for college students.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with PhD degrees, and most of them are MBA degree holders. They have extensive knowledge of the system and curriculum. Course curriculum is relevant as per the guidelines of the college and it prepares students for jobs. Semester exams are not very difficult for students to pass. They just need to go through the notes provided by the college.

Other: I want to indulge in the finance field. The best way to do this is to gain knowledge about the field. it is necessary for students to first understand their field accurately. There are campus functions and cultural events handled by students every month. Traditional functions like Onam, Diwali, and more are celebrated to enjoy. There is a large crowd during these days because outside students also come and enjoy.

Placements: Very low level of students only got the placements. The highest package is 8 lakh; the lowest package is 4 lakh. The average is 2 lakh. Good companies are offering jobs to the college students. But, nowadays placements are poor.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was neat in the collage, but the dogs are always on the campus; no Wi-Fi for us. The library is okay, the quality is so good, and the canteen food was so good. Medical facilities are there, and games are good. No mess is there in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, very talented, and qualified for good teaching for us. Students are made ready for industry. The teaching quality was excellent and beautiful, with a friendly and humble tone. The pass percentage was 40 percent in the exam.

Other: BCom is a good degree and basic. The improvement was to reduce the rules and placements. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. are so good.

The campus is flourished and there are excellent placements.

Placements: My college has got great and excellent placements and it is famous for its placement around my area. Here you can get 100% placement in well renounced companies. Mostly 70% of students will get internships and got placed in companies. Job roles like BPO, marketing manager and financial manager positions has been offered for interns.

Infrastructure: This college has got a wide range of facilities and infrastructure that covers more than 4 acres of land for its campus itself. There are around more than 200 classrooms. We got a library with well-known books written by authors and lab facilities for science students. They also have a variety of sports like indoor and outdoor games.

Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified and they have been educated from well-known institutions and learnt from well renounced teachers thus their teachings make us more relevant for industry. Cycles tests are conducted repeatedly for the purpose to prepare us for the semesters, and it's been easy to clear them with their perfect guidance.

Other: I chose this course because I had to study commerce. In this course, we can explore the field of Marketing and accounting. My course can be more relevant with our extra-curricular combination of activities like commerce expo and inter college commerce interactive sessions. Our college is also having a lot of events in their calendar throughout the academic year and there's no doubts for extracurricular activities.
