TISS has a supreme environment for studying social and behavioural sciences.
Placements: Placements provided by the college were very good. Students are developed to face any drive according to their specialisation. In our batch, almost everyone got placed. Top recruiting companies were P&G, Helping Hands, and many NGOs. Major roles offered were as a team leader and area manager. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite good and had all the minimal facilities. Our labs were well furnished, and we had Wi-Fi facilities in our classrooms. Our hostels were neat, and cleanliness was maintained. There was a hygienic environment. The quality of the food served was also great.
Faculty: The course curriculum was very good and was to the point. The syllabus covered all the aspect required, and there was no special attention to grab. Teachers were quite helpful and had many years of experience. The teaching quality was very good, and they were always ready to help us at any moment.
Other: I chose this course because of the diverse culture and the best faculty members here. Only thing I would suggest here is that campus life should be more fun. There are not much events and festival organised here, making it a monotonous environment.

Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. At the time of applying candidates studying in 3-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 6th semester.

International students eligibility
Candidate must have completed graduation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university/ college.
Proof of English Language Proficiency is essential only for an applicant who has studied in a university located in a non-English speaking country or whose mode of Instruction during previous Degree/ diploma was not English. The candidate has to provide any one of the following scores. The score should not be older than two years.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Academic version-minimum score of 6.5 is required.
Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL - iBT): a score of above 90 or intermediate level performance or Certification of Proficiency in the English issued by the University/College/School from where the candidate has passed her/ his last qualifying examination.
Kindly note, only those students who have qualified from foreign Universities or Boards of Higher Education, recognized as equivalent by the AIU, are eligible for admission.

Candidates passed with Master's Degree are also eligible.

International Students have to take Online International Entrance Test (IET) and shortlisted candidate will be invited for Skype interviews.

Yes, she can apply at other central universities like Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Pondicherry University etc .The window for admission to MSW in TISS is closed now.
