Yes, for Lucknow University admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, entrance test called, the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) is conducted by the university for UG and PG admission. Lucknow University also conducts the Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) for admission to the BBA and BCA courses. For UG and PG courses, the university also accept CUET-UG and CUET-PG exam scores.

University of Lucknow accepts UPTAC BTech scores for admission to the BTech course. As per Lucknow University cutoff 2024, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 326317, while for admission to the CSE course, the closing cutoff rank stood at 129997 for the students belonging to the General Home State quota. Lucknow University admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance exam scores and the merit of the student. It accepts entrance scores such as CUET, CUET-PG, and JEE Main. University of Lucknow also offers direct admission to vacant and NRI seats for BTech and MCA programmes. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 40% to 60% in Class 12 for UG level admissions. For PG level admissions, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% in graduation. 

University of Lucknow offers BTech course to students at UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at Lucknow University, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. They must be Class 12 passed with PCM with a minimum aggregate of 55%. 

Yes, candidates can get admission to BPharm at Lucknow University without CUET scores. The university also offers direct admission to the BPharm programme at LU. However, direct admission seats are granted only if the seats are left vacant after AKTU counselling. For getting direct admission candidates need to qualify for the merit list i.e., released by the university on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores. Further, the LU direct admission process is carried out for the vacant seats and is subject to approval from AKTU.
