I think students should go for it.

Placements: Placements are good but not the best. Good mergers and big companies visit the college to hire students, but there are limited entries. Some eligibility requirements make it hard to make it through placements. We can try LinkedIn or stuff as well. We cannot be totally dependent on our college for our placements, and it may put us in trouble if it is our only option. But the city of Lucknow is good for social exposure, so we can get good exposure here, which will lead us to getting good placements.

Infrastructure: LU is great for infrastructure and hostels. I live in Subhash Hostel, and it is good to live there. It has a garden in front and back of the building. It has courts to play on. The mess has good food, considering hostel food quality. We have many playgrounds and a park where, now and then, some kind of stuff is kept on organising every month, especially on Shivaji ground. I know more about my hostel, i.e., Subhash, so we get a washing machine, good food, filtered water, geyzers, and various electric items in rooms. The infrastructure is old but beautiful.

Faculty: Exams are conducted fairly, and the pattern is easy to predict. Marks checking is good as well. The course curriculum is good, like we don't have to attend more than 4 classes of each subject, which is a good thing because we will lose concentration if we keep studying only.

Other: I wanted to live my college life to the fullest and got it all here. Exposure, social connections, people, studies, everything is good. It organises little fests, parties, and interesting hostel matches and all that stuff, so we can meet new people and build connections. Everything here is good. There are many activities that will engage and bind us with people socially, and we will enjoy our social life.

Placements: Lucknow University placements are mixed. Median UG packages range from 7.8 LPA to 8.4 LPA, with occasional high like 14.4 LPA or 23.6 LPA in 2024-25. However, placement rates and branch-wise support often remain low, especially outside CSE/BBA/MBA, and students point to limited recruiter variety and off-campus Reliance.

Infrastructure: LUs B.Com infrastructure includes shared academic buildings, well-stocked central/cyber libraries, labs, sports, and seminar facilities. Hostels offer basic furnished rooms with Wi-Fi, mess, and security, but complaints include cramped space and average hygiene.

Faculty: Lucknow University faculty members, curriculum follows NEP-aligned structure. UG spans six semesters (major, minor, vocational/co-curricular), internships/projects mandatory, PG four semesters, law ten semesters. Faculty members are diverse, with industry-aligned courses, and guest lectures.

The college provides good infrastructure with excellent education.

Placements: About 20-30% of students got placed in my college. The highest is about 4 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is about 1.8 LPA. Many reputed companies come for recruitment, like Wipro and Infosys. No one got an internship in my course. Top roles offered are marketing and accounting.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, as the college was built by the British, and it gives good vibes. The classrooms are ventilated. The computer labs and library are present. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. The rooms are decent, but the quality of the food available in the mess is not good. The canteen food is decent. Medical facilities and sports facilities are available for all the students.

Faculty: The teachers are very experienced, helpful, friendly towards the students. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are of average difficulty, and the passing percentage is about 40%.

Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about accounting and business. The best thing about my course is that it helps students in CA exams and develops personality. I wish the department would reduce the teacher-to-student ratio because there are more than 90 students in one class. Regular fest and events are conducted, and the campus crowd is good. The campus is located in the middle of the city, and the surroundings and connectivity are excellent. Scholarships are available for all students. Extracurricular activities are performed by the students.

Lucknow University is one of the best colleges in Uttar Pradesh .

Placements: 70% of placement is being done in my course 4.6 is the highest and 1 Lacs is the lowest Wipro tata HCl and many other companies have came for recruitment 95% of the students got internship mostly in big companies hcl flipkart and amazon Mostly in hr and marketing field.

Infrastructure: The facility is extremely good There is no Wi-Fi btt classrooms are airy and nice Library is extremely good with all the course books Hostel facility is nice. Food available in mess is hygienic and variety is being served Sports and games are conducted often.

Faculty: Faculty is talented and experienced. They have good knowledge in various subjects. Teaching quality in ims is good Yes it is relevant Yes it definitely makes the student industry ready If one has attended the classes then it is quite good Pass percentage is 96%.
