It takes too long to reach the department from main GATE .

Placements: I don't really know about my department placement. I have seen placements in other departments, all seats full every year, I really don't know about package in my department lately, they do such boring placement seminars for students most of them are irrelevant.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the department is okay not any department library available? , you cant find class without help. Sports and games are available in the college as competitive basis, no labs for geography department, classes are okay you can't find without asking.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but too lazyyy to teach I mean some of them, not all but in starting classes were on time. Semester examination are damn tough but you can pass them by making flowcharts and diagrams are most important for this exam. Pass percentage by 90 % on an average .

Other: My course has remote sensing and gis that's why im pursuing this. And also@ o like to know the world through this book. Cyyctucitc.

Placements: 25% of students were placed in different areas like urban planner, GIS specialist, Remote sensing, etc. Most of the students qualified JRF and doing research on various topics such as natural hazards, population dynamics, and urbanization. People may also go in cartography, environmental consultant and climatologist.

Infrastructure: Yes, there were good classrooms and libraries. It's a well-equipped university with modern infrastructure that can enhance the learning environment, research capabilities and student comfort. This university plays a vital role in enhancing the overall college experience for students.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are knowledgeable; some are the best and some are good. They provide valuable insights, guidance and support to students in their journey. The teachers at the university are highly qualified in their respective fields and are passionate about imparting knowledge to students.

Other: For me, geography is a very interesting subject. Actually, I was preparing for civil services examinations when I realized it was really a good subject to learn and geography helps you understand the world around you by exploring relationships between people, place and the environment. It allows you to learn about different landscape and global issues such as climate change, urbanization and natural disasters. And it also opens up diverse career opportunities in fields like urban planning, environmental management and research.
