Lucknow University PG cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to several postgraduate courses, including MVA, MA, MCom, M.Ed, MTTM, MSc and MPH, among other courses. The last round cutoff ranged between 10.5 and 150, of which MVA in Stone Carving stands out as the most competitive course for the General AI category students. For MSc courses, the PGET cutoffs varied between 32 and 76. Among all the MSc specialsiation, M.Sc. in Anthropology was the most competitive for admission. Lucknow University admits entrance tests through UGET, UGPET, PGET, CUET, CUET-PG and JEE Main. Admission to MBA is on basis of LUMET and personal interview. The Basic Teachers Training admission is JEE Main and then followed by UPTU Counselling

Lucknow University accepts JEE Main entrance exam scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. Considering the JEE Main last round cutoff 2024, the closing ranks varied between 129997 and 326317, of which Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive BTech specialisation for the General Home State quota. Lucknow University offers good placement annually. The University has achived 81% placements in the academic year 2024-25. The highest and average package secured by the batch 2025 was INR 24.61 and INR 7.86 LPA. Earlier, the participating recruiters presented 2588 job offers to the students of the batch 2024.

The Lucknow University highest package offered to the batch 2025 was same as it was offered to the batch 2024, which stood at INR 24.61 LPA. Earlier, the student of MSc Geology received the highest salary of INR 23.61 by ONGC.

According to the latest report, a rise of 260% in the job offers was recorded in the year 2024 when compared with 2023. The students received 718 job offers in 2023 which increased to 2588 offers duirng Lucknow placements 2024.

University of Lucknow accepts UPTAC BTech scores for admission to the BTech course. As per Lucknow University cutoff 2024, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 326317, while for admission to the CSE course, the closing cutoff rank stood at 129997 for the students belonging to the General Home State quota. The University of Lucknow accepts the UPTAC cutoff rank for admission to the BTech programmes. The UPTAC Cutoff 2025 has been released for all rounds and categories. The B.Tech. in Civil Engineering had the last round cutoff of 457543 for the students belonging to the General category under the All India quota. The median package offered to the batch 2025 is yet to be released. The overall median package offered during Lucknow University placements 2024 was INR 8.3 LPA. Earlier, it was INR 14.4 LPA in 2023.
