At the PG level, Madras University MSc is a full-time course. This programme is offered with multiple specialisations. Some of the popular specialisations opted often by students are Geology, c. Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Information Technology, among others. The duration of the programme is two years.
