Admissions to the 5-year Integrated MSc courses for the academic year 2022 and onward at the University of Hyderabad will be through the Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) exam conducted by NTA. Yes, for the two-year MSc programme available at UoH, admission is completely subject to scores obtained by the students in CUET (PG) exam. Followed by this exam, admission counselling is conducted in the order of merit based on the CUET scores, category wise intake and the admission criteria defined by the University of Hyderabad. Candidates shortlisted for admission counselling must pay the prescribed fee on the Samarth portal. Seats are then allotted in the order of merit and the fee paid by the candidates who could not secure a seat after the counselling process is refunded accordingly.

Students must attend 75% of classes held in all courses at the University of Hyderabad. Hence, low attendance can affect their chances of appearing in the semester-end exams. Ever student is bound to follow this and there will be exceptions given for only a few students belonging to special cases. 

University of Hyderabad admission to most of the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the UoH.
