This college is serene and beautiful campus with average academic experience.

Placements: In the civil engineering branch, there were less placements as compared to other technical courses. Almost 20% of our batchmates were placed through campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA for entry positions in the construction industry, major companies were Gammon India, and Sri Ram Developers. Around 20% of students got internships in various sectors. The lowest salary package offered was around 1.75 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus life and infrastructure were a major attraction for students here, a beautiful serene hill campus. Computer laboratories were well-equipped with Wi-Fi, classrooms were well architecture. Food quality at mess could be improved, but that depends on the current batch as the hostel secretary decides the menu, no major medical facility available at campus because hospitals were nearby only.

Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and the teaching quality was also good. They were helpful to the students, but there was a lack of faculty members. The teachers were overworked mostly so it hampers their efficiency. After entering the industry I would say the curriculum was a bit outdated and disappointed student after they enter the workforce. Semester exams were easy to pass, but students had to pay attention in class and be active in all the assignments. The pass percentage was around 80%.

Other: I opted for this civil engineering, because construction always amazed me, major structures like dams and bridges always fascinated me like how they were being constructed. One thing that needs to change about this course was the outdated curriculum as major changes had been made to the design and procurement of structures. Annual fests and events were highlights of student's life in this college, on that platforms management could had thought more about extracurricular activities. Yuva fest was filled with stars like Arijit Singh, Mika, and major celebrities regularly coming to our college.

If you want to enjoy your college life and also want to perform well in study join .

Placements: Placement is good in Uttaranchal university there are many big tech giants visit our college like amazon, flipkart, nutanix etc. More than 100 companies visit our college every year in CSE alone, but placement of my course B.Tech (civil) was below average.

Infrastructure: Uttaranchal university have world class infrastructure with complete security measures. It has all the necessary things, like central library food court, well maintained lab for me I can say uttaranchal university have one of the best laboratory for civil engineering in whole Uttarakhand after IIT Roorkee.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college is experienced and good with great academic background. They guide your from once you enter in college to your entire life, and course syllabus is relevant to the latest technology. And semester exams are conducted in well manner. Min pass % is 40 in both practical and theoretical .

Other: Yuva fest is one the biggest fest among all colleges in india.

I am dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: None of the students got placed from our batch. The highest academic percentage in our course is 85%. Students got internships on their own, but not on behalf of college or university. The top recruiting company is XYZ private limited. None of the MNC visited our campus for placements.

Infrastructure: I am not a hostler. Labs and classroom are good, but there is no Wi-Fi facility in it. Breakfast, lunch, dinner served in the mess is good. But facilities for games and sports is below average. However, medical facilities are good. The outing timing for girls and boys is different, not the same.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good verbally, but not practically. In labs, there are no good faculty to explain practicals in a good manner, and they don't teach from basic to the students. However, all the instrument in labs are sufficient for all students, but there is no competition between students like technical projects making etc.

Other: I have chosen this course as I was interested in civil engineering.

The college has a beautiful and green campus. The placements are not good in civil engineering.

Placements: The placement for civil engineering in Uttaranchal University is not much good. Other branches like mechanical engineering and computer science engineering have good placements, but if you talk about civil engineering, you don't have a good opportunity in campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Uttaranchal University is top class and well-furnished. The classrooms are beautiful. Everything in Uttaranchal University is well-maintained. Whether it is classrooms or table chairs, everything is the best quality. Regarding infrastructure, you don't have a great job. The Wi-Fi facility is also available but not in classrooms. The medical facility is also available in the college. An ambulance is there as well as, the labs are of good quality.

Faculty: The teachers of the civil engineering are very helpful, good and qualified as well. Most of them have PhD degree, and regarding understanding, and they have good skills to teach students. The staff of Uttaranchal University are very co-operative. I will give 4 out of 5 for the faculty.

Other: The campus has a great crowd and organises fest every year in which many celebrities takes place in Uttaranchal University.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placements, moderate teachers. It has a well built campus.

Placements: The college is not good in placements as there are no civil engineering companies. I don't expect any placement from the college, rather than this, the college welcomes 2 or 3 placement drives for the civil students. I haven't heard any of the civil students got placed from the college placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Uttaranchal University is moderate. The buildings are well built, spacious, the nice price of engineering but when it comes to the auditorium, is has been building from the last 4 years and the work is in progress like a turtle in the race. Moreover, the campus is well built.

Faculty: The civil engineering faculty members are moderate, but they are so good when it comes to the faculty-student relationship. They can help in any situation, but some of the faculty don't even know English. So you can judge how they are. The faculty members are not in accordance to clear any competitive exam.

Other: The fest is conducted once in a year if the college management is interested in it. Moreover, they will be charging you extra fee that is included in your semester fee.
