Yes, the university offers a full-time Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science Engineering course. The duration of the course is four years. Admission to the BTech CSE course is entrance exam-based. Candidates seeking admission to BTech CSE at VBSPU must meet the following criteria:

• Selection: UPCET/ JEE Main/ CUET / PUCAT + UPTAC Counselling/ Counselling conducted by the university

The Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is conducted by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in order to offer students admission in various postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. Through PUCAT, candidates can get admission in MBA, MA and MSc courses. The mode of the exam is offline and the medium of the entrance exam is English.

The VBSPU the highest package has not been released. However, the course-wise median package is out. VBSPU Jaunpur is a public state university that is a residential-cum-affiliating in nature. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University is recognised by the University Grants Commission. It was established in 1987 and through its affiliated colleges, offers UG, PG, Ph.D. PG Diploma and integrated courses to students. Formerly known as the Purvanchal Institution in Jaunpur, the institution currently goes by the name Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, a former chief minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to providing a wide range of services for students, VBSU Jaunpur also keeps its infrastructure in good shape. They also provide scholarships, which are given to people with strong academic records and financial necessity.

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University offers more than 25 courses at UG, PG, and Diploma levels in full-time mode. These programmes are offered under six faculties, admission to some of the courses is based on the university-conducted entrance exam and for remaining courses are through national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, UPCET, etc. Tabulated below is the list of some of the popular courses along with their eligibility and selection criteria:

CUET PG admit card will be released in the last week of March 2026, tentatively. The admit card is a mandatory document that needs to be carried by the students. 

After considering all the specialisations, around 50%-70% of seats are allocated to the candidates who qualify the accepted entrances such as PUCAT, and JEE Main. For UG and PG courses, the CUET exam scores are taken into consideration for admission to fill 50% of seats. For courses such as BTech, JEE Main’s scores are considered to allocate 70% of seats, and the remaining 30% are allocated via the PUCAT exam. Some courses such as BCA and diplomas require the PUCAT exam after the qualification of 10+2.

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released.

The MSc fees for the course are variable at VBSPU Jaunpur and based on several criteria. The total tuition fee for the MSc course ranges from INR 30,000 to 1.1 lakh. Along with these tuition fees, there are hostel charges of approximately INR 1.06 Lacs for the student. In total, the fee structure, comprising tuition and hostel accommodation, should vary between INR 1.36 Lacs and INR 2.17 lakh.
