- The CLAT 2026 application process is now open for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses. The last date to apply is Oct 31, 2025. Furthermore, the CLAT 2026 exam will be held on Dec 7, 2025.
- The TANCET 2026 registration process is anticipated to begin in the third week of Jan 2026 for admission to MBA and MCA courses.
- The LSAT India 2025 exam has been discontinued and will not be conducted from 2025 onwards for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year Integrated LLB, and LLM courses.

Vel Tech University in Avadi, Chennai was established in the year 1997. It has been accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC and NBA. It was affiliated with University of Madras, but the affiliation shifted to Anna University. Vel Tech University has been ranked 96 and 86 in the University and Engineering category by NIRF 2024.

In order to get admission to BTech, students can get admission through both merit and entrance-based. Aspirants need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place, which is to pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate in the respective subjects or equivalent from any recognised board.
