Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology provides various programmes and specialisations to students. These courses are available in different streams. Yes, Vel Tech offers hostel facilities to students enrolled in the law programme, such as BA LLB and BCom LLB. As per the official website, the university provides standard rooms on three sharing, four sharing, five sharing, and six sharing. Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College placed 333 out of 361 UG students, according to the NIRF 2023 report. UG students received a median package of INR 4.5 LPA, while PG students received a median package of INR 5.5 LPA. The institute welcomes 540 regular recruiters every year, some of which are, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, Capgemini, Hyundai Motors, Airtel, Saint-Gobain, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Polaris, etc. On the other hand, S.A. Engineering College, Chennai, also had students placed in top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, HDFC Bank, etc. Therefore, both colleges offer good placements, and it is difficult to say which one is better.
