Candidates must have passed MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management or Administration awarded by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) / M.S. (By Research) in Management Sciences with mentioned marks or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examinations from a recognized board or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
Candidates who have passed M.Phil. in Business Management or Administration awarded by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) / M.S. In order to get admission to BTech, students can get admission through both merit and entrance-based. Aspirants need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place, which is to pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate in the respective subjects or equivalent from any recognised board. Students who get less than 60% aggregate in their previous qualifying exams must qualify for VTUEEE. While those who get more than 60% aggregate will get can direct admission based on their merit performance in their previous qualifying exam. Qualified students also have to fill an online application form on the official website of Vel Tech.
