Overall, it's very good for students' sake.
Placements: In our college, students who have above 65% can apply for their respective courses. The highest package is for law courses, which offer 1 LPA, while the lowest package is Rs. 55,000. The average package is about Rs. 75,000. Tata is one of recruiters. About 98% of students are selected in our course. The top roles offered in our course are in bioinformatics, microbiology, and food biotechnology.
Infrastructure: The atmosphere around the campus, especially for the hostel students studying at our university, is good. The infrastructure is good, and Wi-Fi facility is available for students. They can visit the library after class hours at any time, as it remains open until 8:00 PM. The university provides all necessary facilities and shows extra involvement in sports activities for the benefit of students.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly towards us, and they are well-qualified faculty members. They structure the student curriculum properly and prepare us well. It's pretty good actually, but if we concentrate more on every subject, it becomes easier for students. The pass percentage is 40%.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, really good for learn more things and parts about life.
Placements: A minimum of 20% of students are placed in more companies, like Metropolis Lab, and all students complete their internships.
Infrastructure: My department has free Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classroom facilities. The hostel food is not bad, but it is good to eat. Some foods, like poori, are not as good, but no one can complain about it because the food is not bad in flavor and taste. It is lower in cost compared to homemade food, but it's okay. The entire campus is very clean.
Faculty: In our department, the teaching is perfect. Some teachers are not very good, but they complete our syllabus on time and provide important questions for the semester examinations. Some faculty members teach in a friendly manner, while others are not bad. But, there are some incidents that could be avoided, but those are not our problem. Students are not allowed to leave during class hours. They are closely monitored by guards for student safety.

Good for aviation - overall average.
Placements: Our program has a good record of placing students in companies like Indigo, Air India, etc. Many students from our senior batch have secured full-time positions, while even second-year students have obtained part-time jobs on campus. While the number of companies visiting our college is limited, those that do tend to be high-quality employers, offering opportunities to a select group of students.
Infrastructure: Our college's outdated infrastructure and poor maintenance make for an unpleasant experience. The bathrooms, in particular, are unsanitary and emit strong odors that can be suffocating. This, combined with other shortcomings, creates a less-than-ideal living environment for students residing in the hostel.
Faculty: The accelerated pace of the course may hinder students' ability to fully grasp the material, especially in the final stages. However, the curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills for success.

VISTAS- facts for future aspects.
Placements: 90 percent of students are placed in our college. Companies like Accenture Zoho, etc. have arrived for placements. The students were placed in various companies and also had a good package for their career. Our college helps us in placement training, etc.
Infrastructure: They have an average hostel and other infrastructure. The foods provided in the hostel will be fair to eat. All the students can have Wi-Fi access and library activities to get their knowledge in the hostel also. They have a safe and secured hostel in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college make us understand the subjects as well, both technical and technological aspects. They conduct exams in the 1-month period so that we can do our exams neatly and easily. They conduct both practical and theoretical exams for a semester.

Overall, it is a good college with a nice environment.
Placements: Most students in aviation don't depend on the placements provided by the college. Only a few attend the campus interviews for placements because they offer basic pay jobs at IndiGo Airlines. IndiGo is currently the only recruiting company for aviation. They don't provide internships here.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have all lab facilities, but currently, the simulator lab is under construction, and we don't have Wi-Fi facilities in college. The hostels here have Wi-Fi facilities and 24-hour water service. The food here is average, but the rooms are comfortable and neat.
Faculty: The faculty here are well-qualified and experienced in the field. They have practical knowledge about the industry as they have worked in it before, which makes students industry-ready and keeps them inspired. Exams here occur every month, with moderate difficulty.

Our college provides good infrastructure and many events.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our college. Students need to learn many things to get jobs. Staff members are helpful for students to gain knowledge related to their field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Simulator lab is available to gain knowledge of aircraft. They arrange some industrial visits that are very helpful to gain knowledge about the aircraft and applicable in the aviation department.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful during exams in giving marks if students attend exams with basic knowledge. They get above 80% of their marks. I scored above 80% in all exams because of good teachers.
Other: Around 2 to 3 events are organised in our college every year like VELS Nakshatra, VELS Thiruvizha, VELS fest, etc.

VELS University, B.Sc. Biotechnology.
Placements: Placements were good, but not the best. Companies that came did not offer good packages, at least for my course. The lowest package was around Rs. 13,000–14000, and the highest was Rs. 30,000 according to my seniors. Lab assistant and medical coder roles were mostly offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility and labs were good for my course. The library was good and easily accessible for most students on campus. The hostel food was good at the start of the year, I won’t talk about the middle of the year. I mostly ordered food from outside, and by the end of the year, it was super good. The hostel rooms were okay. There was laundry service and vending machines for snacks and juices. Wi-Fi facility was good in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers were super friendly and helpful in most cases if you just existed or performed well, but if you were someone who did notorious things, never expected good internals. The course was relevant, internships were mostly provided, and they gave practical knowledge about the industry. The semester exams were easy if you were an active listener in class. The pass percentage was 40%.
Other: I chose this because of its growing industry and active development in India. I didn’t know anything that made this course any better. One of things I liked about the college was its college fest and events. There were various scholarships available for students.
