Cultural and educational lifestyles of students at Vignan University.

Placements: In my course, my friends and I read well; we will participate in coding challenges like Code Chef and know how to code. The average package in our course is 336,000 per year. Companies that came to our college are TCS, Accenture, IBM, and Capgemini. And placed as software engineers and web developers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my department is very good; it includes chairs, benches, and tables, and the equipment in our labs is very good; the monitor and keyboards are of very good quality. The hostel food is very good, with many curries and many breakfasts. We play games in the evenings; there are many facilities, like sports, and there is a canteen named MHP midst the happenings. It is very busy all day.

Faculty: Our faculty, both teaching and non-teaching, are well-qualified with their degrees; they are friendly with students, they solve doubts easily, and they will conduct many exams to improve the knowledge of students and make them read and gain knowledge. Our curriculum is R22, which is very good for exposing students' talent.

Other: I have this course because I am in it and want to become a software engineer. I wish our department should improve to make programming effective for the students from the time they came to the department onwards. In our college, they conduct festivals like Mahotsav Srijanankura and department festivals, which are very joyful for students.

Good infrastructure is provided. Extracurricular activities are organised.

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 3lpa and average package is 4lpa. Top recruiting companies are TCS, and Cognizant. Approximately 60-70% students got internship in cognizant.

Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure available in my course/department is screens board, classrooms benches and chair there is no AC in classrooms and labs. The quality of food in my hostel is good but taste is not good. Medical facilities, sports and games infrastructure is available.

Faculty: The teachers are good and very helpful, they are well qualified and ones. Overall teaching quality is really good. Currently curriculum is really very bad because is not yet useful to all students. It does make students industry ready. The semester exams are very difficult we not even have sufficient time. Pass percentage of students in last sem is very low due to this so many students not avail the concession also.
