VIT-AP University Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

As per the official website of VIT-AP University the admission dates for the integrated M.Tech dates are out now for 2025 admission. The integrated M.Tech admission dates were out on February 3, 2025, and the last date to apply is on May 15, 2025. Further, the Result & Choice preference will be held from June 4 to 6, 2025, and the seats will be allotted on June 10, 2025.

Further, the University also offers a five-year Integrated MSc programme in the field of Data Science This five-year integrated course is a combination of a three-year BSc course at the undergraduate level and a two-year MSc course at the postgraduate level. 

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer BSc as an dual degree programme with MSc. The dual degree programme lasts for five years and is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course is spreas across ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. The BSc-MSc dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. Candidates appearing for the upcoming VIT Engineering Entrance Exam can check the previous year's VITEEE cutoff. It is unlikely that VIT will release the official cut-off based on the previous years trends. The cutoff of VITEEE 2024 if released, will be available category-wise. The specialisations offered under the MSc course at VIT-AP University are Data Science, Chemistry, and Physics. The course are offered in a full-time mode lasting for two yers. Admission to the MSc course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Further, candidates are shortlisted for the MSc based on the personal statement of purpose (SOP) for about 500 words describing why the applicant desires this data Science degree and the online personal interview. 

No entrance exam is required for the MSc course at VIT-AP University. Candidates are shortlisted based on the SOP and the online personla interview conducted by the university. Furher, candidates must have BSc degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Applied Science from any recognised university with Physics, Mathematics, Botany, or Zoology as ancillary subjects with 60% aggregate.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) accepts VITEEE scores for admission to B.Tech courses. Candidates with a VITEEE rank between 7500-27500 are eligible for admission. 

VIT also considers JEE Main and SAT exam scores for admission to B.Tech. However, VIT doesn't consider any other entrance score for B.Tech admission. 

To be eligible for admission, candidates must: 

•Pass with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)

•Pass with a minimum overall aggregate of 60%

•Be NATA qualified

VIT's four campuses are in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal.

Students seeking to apply for any of the course offered at the institute need to satisfy the admission criteria of the course. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying exam, and Personal Interview. Further, the institute also takes into consideration candidate's performance in the last qualifying exam among other factors.
