VIT-AP University Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

The BTech fee at VIT Andhra Pradesh University range from  INR 4.9 Lacs to INR 7.8 lakh. Which includes multiple other fee components such as caution deposit of INR 3,000 that is refudable. For VIT-AP University M.Tech admission, candidates can follow the below steps:

1. Candidates must first have a valid qualification, i.e., a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / EEE / ECE from a recognised University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or first class.
2. Eligible candidates must apply for the VITMEE exam conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology. Further, candidates with a valid GATE score also become eligible.
3. After completing the entrance exam, candidates who have passed the exam become eligible to participate in the VITMEE counselling process. The seat allotment is done purely based on the merit rank of the exams.
4. Now candidates are allotted seats and admission allotment letters will be provided. Candidates now just have to pay the VIT-AP M.Tech course fee to accept the seats and hence complete the admission process.

VIT-AP fees for the two-year M.Tech course range from INR 3.8 Lacs to INR 4.9 lakh. The course fee can be paid in two installments. Further, candidates must also pay an amount of INR 3,000 as a caution deposit fee, which is refundable. The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2023 ranged between 1930 and 9255 for different B.Tech courses, among which B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive one. The Last-Round Cutoff rank for CSE closed at 1930. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS Quota. The least competitive course among all was B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with the Cutoff rank of 9255. Therefore, the minimum rank to seek admission in VIT-AP is 9255.

No, VIT-AP University does not accept direct admissions for any of its courses. Students seeking to apply for any of the course offered at the institute need to satisfy the admission criteria of the course. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying exam, and Personal Interview. Further, the institute also takes into consideration candidate's performance in the last qualifying exam among other factors. 

Candidates who has a valid score in the last qualifying exam are eligible for the BA course at VIT AP. The eligibility and selection criteria for VIT Andhra Pradesh BA admission in 2024 are provided below:

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. They must also have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 level board examination from any recognised board of education.

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer scholarsips to its BCom course especially to the students with an excellent academic records. Some of the VIT Andhra Pradesh scholarships offered are as follows:

GV Merit Scholarship - Any board topper across the country will get a 100% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree

Tmt.Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship - Any district topper across the country will get 50% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programme. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it 75% scholarship)

VIT Amaravati does offer BTech in Computer Science Engineering. The BTech course is further available in sub-specialisations such as CSE (Data Analytics), CSE (Robotics), CSE (Artificial Intelligence), and CSE (Networking and Security). To secure BTech admission candidates should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. For BTech admission candidates must also have VITEEE score. 

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer a Bachelor degree programme as  a dual degree programme with Master of Arts. The dual degree programme is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course lasts for five-year with ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. However, the BA-MA dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After successful completion of three years with BA degree and four years with BA (Hons.) degree.
