SRM is one of the finest universities in Chennai.As they are kind and will help you whenever they want. Overall academics are good. Placement is as good as you think. As SRM University Chennai has more than 800 companies visiting them each year and 80 percent of the students studying there get placed.

I will not suggest SRM due to the heavy fee burden on your parents. It is almost 30 Lacs with a hostel fee. You will not be able to pay with the placement that is given. Please see some of the Anna University colleges. They may not be great, but they cost you 1/10 of what SRM will give. The faculty are the same in all colleges as they are from Anna University or affiliated colleges.

I can see that there is no subject from mathematics apart from one topic of probability and statistics in the third semester.

I would personally suggest VIT because its academic curriculum and pattern they follow are at international standards. Apart from that VIT has a strong base in connecting with various companies, institutes, and centers for letting it be placements or academics. VIT has a very good number of company sponsors.
