A dependable institution for higher studies.

Placements: There was no direct placement from the university. However a decent amount of students got placed in research companies, nearly 60%. The rest are pursuing government jobs and have passed the preliminary tests. They are confident to achieve their career goals which makes their hard work fruitful.

Infrastructure: All the labs and classrooms are clean and well maintained. The library is full of the latest materials ranging from course books to references. The hostel needs improvement in regards of maintenance and medical help is given whenever needed. Sports have been conducted on a regular basis to keep the morale boosted.

Faculty: The teachers have guided us well and the quality has been top-notch. The course curriculum is for students looking to get into research studies, and it has made them ready for the industry. Research requires immense knowledge and capability to solve problems, and both have been honed well by the teachers.

Placements: More than 80% students got placement in different companies. The highest salary 9k PA. the lowest salary 4k PA. And average salary 5k pA. Top recruiting companies are tcs, ongc, coal India etc. Mostly 40% students got internship in IIT Bombay. III kharagpur and IIT Madras.

Infrastructure: Hostel and good foods are available here. Large campus with big library. Indore and outdoor game facilities. New type of equipments for practical. Wi-Fi access in total campus. And emergency medical facilities are also available here. Foods were very delicious.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They were our friend philosophers and guide. The taught us with great care. And attention. The were supportive. They motivated us and encourage us for extra curriculum activities like singing dancing various sports.

Other: I like maths. And it is near to my house. Campus is very good.

Good infrastructure and excellent relationship between teachers and students.

Placements: I completed a master degree in mathematics from West Bengal State University in the year of 2014. In our time TCS came for placements for BPO jobs. As it is a general college, there is less placement conducted compare to engineering colleges. In Tcs placement around thirty percent of our batchmates were recruited.

Infrastructure: The campus is very good and the infrastructure of the college is good. Canteen food is good in quality and cheap in price. We did not have any hostel facility. Classrooms are clean and all kinds of informative books and magazines are available in the library.

Faculty: We have enough teachers for each and every subject. They are knowledgeable and they conducted extra classes for the student interest. They even organized extra laboratory classes on our request. I definitely recommend my juniors to pursue their Bachelor or Masters degree in this university.

WBSU. Its an UGC recognised university. It is located in a village area so the campus is very calm.

Placements: Very little or no placement at all in campus. Student prefer to go for off campus. There are no big companies hiring from West Bengal state University. But one can gain a good knowledge from that university that will help him/her for his off campus placement struggle very much.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and different clean and attractive lab. With good products. Almost all type of material available for respective courses. For hostels, since its beside a village you can go for mess in that village or rent a house. Village peoples are so friendly.

Faculty: New course curriculum is good. It follows CBSE. But old curriculum were not so good. University professors follow the curriculum very strictly and they do not leave any topic. They are well caring for weak students. And other students are also helpful.

Other: No crowd. Since the campus is very large according to people. Good campus and very soothing close to nature. University located in a village.
