Step 1: Xavier University MTech Application Process 2024

Eligible applicants can proceed with the application formalities. The mode of application is online. Interested candidates must apply and send their application fee for the MTech course. In addition, the selection is based on OJEE results. Candidates can fill out the OJEE application form through the website: ojee.nic.in. The following are the steps in the Xavier University MTech application process:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website: www.xub.edu.in.

Step 1.2: Register by filling out all personal details, such as a valid mobile number, email ID, etc.

Step 1.3: Upload the documents in the required format.

Step 1.4: Pay the admission fee and submit the form.

Step 2: Selection Round

Xavier University considers OJEE scores and the academic record. Candidates seeking admission to the MTech must qualify for all the selection rounds to be eligible for the course. Merit screening and PI rounds are part of the selection criteria. The selected candidates then proceed with the next admission round.

Step 3: Merit List and Counselling

The university releases a merit list based on the candidates' performance in the selection round. The shortlisted candidates are invited for the counselling round. After the document verification, they must pay the fee to confirm their seats. The tuition fee for the MTech programme ranges from INR 5 lakh. Xavier University provides merit-based scholarships to the candidates applying for the MTech programme. Those candidates who wish to avail of the scholarship have to fulfil the specific eligibility criteria, which determine the percentage of the tuition fee waiver. Interested applicants can refer to the following list for some of the Xavier University scholarships and their required eligibility criteria:

• Candidates with a 90% aggregate in Class 12 are offered a 50% course/tuition fee waiver during admission. This offer continues if candidates secure at least an 8.0 CGPA in each of the subsequent years.
• Meritorious scholarships are also granted to the topper of each university course at the end of the year, which leads to a course/tuition fee waiver of 50%.
• Three candidates from SC, ST, economically backward, or minority categories are also provided with a 50% course/tuition fee waiver.
