NIT Meghalaya is among the newly established NITs in the northeast region. It managed to secure 72nd under engineering category. Once students have registered on the GATE application portal, they must participate in the subsequent CCMT counselling process. In this process, the M.Tech seats are allocated based on the candidate's performance in the GATE exam and the availability of seats. Yes, NIT Meghalaya offers MSc as a postgraduate programme for two years. The programme is offered across three specialisations which include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
