NATA paper will be prepared to assess the aptitude of the candidates for BArch admissions. Within the 3 hour duration, the candidates will have to attempt a total of 48 questions. NATA questions will be Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Drawing and Composition. The question paper will be prepared so that the candidates can be assessed on basic concepts in mathematics, Physics and Geometry, language and interpretation, elements and principles of design, aesthetic sensitivity, colour theory, lateral thinking and logical reasoning, visual perception and cognition, graphics and imagery, building anatomy and architectural vocabulary, basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of material, general knowledge and Current Affairs etc. and may not be limited to those outlined.
NATA 2026 question paper will have two sections. First section will be conducted as an offline test and will have drawing and composition questions. The second section will have MCQs. The questions will be prepared to check candidate's basic conceptual knowledge in various subjects that are important in architectural field. A total of 48 questions will be in NATA question paper.
NATA response sheet consists of the answers submitted by the candidates during the examination. The authorities release the NATA response sheet, to allow the candidates to know what their individual responses were to the question paper. However, the candidates will have to pay INR 3,000 to check and download the response sheet. The authorities have released the NATA response sheet along with the answer key. Candidates can use the NATA answer key and response sheet to calculate their probable scores secured in the entrance examination.
CoA has not released official NATA question papers. However, if released, candidates will be able to access NATA question papers here. The questions asked in examination can be checked by candidates to review answers. NATA question papers will be prepared by authorities and will be based on official syllabus. Through question paper of NATA, candidates will be assessed on their aptitude and reasoning skills.

1. NATA - NATA is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Council of Architecture for candidates who wants to take admission to undergraduate programmes in Architecture (5-year BArch). Candidates can appear in one or a maximum of 3 NATA exams. NATA is a test that will assess the candidate’s ability through a variety of testing formats.
2. JEE Main Paper 2A (BArch) - It is an entrance test conducted by NTA. The subjects included in the exam are Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.
3. AAT - The Architecture Aptitude Test is conducted every year for the candidates who want to take admission to the BArch programme offered by IIT Kharagpur, IIT Varanasi and IIT Roorkee. Applicants have to pay a fee for submitting NATA application form. Fee for NATA application form is INR 1750 for General/OBC category, INR 1250 for SC.ST/PwD category students, and INR 1000 for transgender students.
