Focus and Scope: NATA mainly focus on evaluating the drawing ability, observation skills, basic mathematics, proportion, perspective and architectural awareness. NATA syllabus is relatively focused and emphasises design and visual aptitude.

Clearing the NATA exam will depend on the spatial visualisation, freehand sketching, composition and basic arithmetic rather than advanced mathematics or physics.
