In GITAM GAT, each correct answer will be awarded 1 or 2 marks. There is no negative marking. Each question has four options, of which one is correct.
No, all the questions in the GAT question paper will be objective-type questions and will be in MCQ format. Candidates will be given four options for each question. Candidates will have to select the correct option for each question. GAT question paper will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question will be for one mark. There will be a negative marking for any wrong answers. Candidates will have to attempt the 200 questions in 60 minutes. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the GAT exam sections. GAT 2026 exam will be held multiple times in a year in computer-based mode across 27 cities in India.

An essential part of preparation is to practice with GITAM GAT sample papers and question papers. Avoid Last Minute Preparation for GITAM GAT 2026 Exam
In the last lap of preparation, avoid taking any new topics from any subject. This will create chaos and further confusion. Rather, it is advised to dedicate the time to revise the units, topics and what you have already studied so far. In the last week before GITAM GAT 2026, candidates should be determined and very subjective in terms of the syllabus to be revised.
