Brainware University Campus Area

The campus area of Brainware University has everything that a student needs to thrive in an educational institute.

The campus of Brainware University (BWU) is located in the Kazipara area of Barasat in Kolkata. It is within a driving distance of the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport also known as Kolkata International Airport. The Brainware campus is spread over a lush-green nine acres of area.

The campus entrance is wide with a guard room beside it, to keep a check on the visitors and to ensure the safety of the students. The entrance also reserves a spacious spot for vehicle parking and the safety of vehicles is managed by the security personnel. Entering the campus is a beautiful fountain as a welcoming gesture to every student and visitor of the University. The campus consists of a total number of four prime buildings, dedicated for academic purposes. Inside these buildings are nine schools of Brainware University. These schools are:

1. School of Engineering
2. School of Biotechnology & Biosciences
3. School of Humanities & Social Sciences
4. School of Medical & Allied Health Sciences
5. School of Computational & Applied Sciences
6. School of Management & Commerce
7. School of Law
8. School of Communication, Multimedia & Film Studies
9. School of Skill Development

Academic Infrastructure

The University provides a huge infrastructure that is relevant across all the schools of BWU. 

1. Computer Labs: The computer labs with high-end computational capabilities have been installed in every prime building for students of every program. Playing a crucial role, especially for students of BCA, this facility is a vital element of the campus.

2. Chemistry Labs: A chemistry lab with the availability of all the essential chemicals is a must for students studying Chemistry and Pharma. And with such a facility on the campus, students can experiment and grow their understanding in their respective fields.

3. Physiotherapy Room: A facility that is rare to find in most colleges, but is provided in BWU, assisting the medical students of the university in gaining experience.

4. Moot Court: A place to hone the skills of every budding lawyer. Moot Court plays a major role in confidence-boosting and the development of traits that a lawyer needs to possess. 

5. Library: The campus has two libraries. One is the Central Library, open for all the bright minds to study and research. The second is, the Law Library exclusively for law students since the law is a subject that needs its own resources of research and analysis.

6. Seminar Halls: A place where different kinds of workshops and seminars are held for providing exposure to the students coming from different departments.

Additional Facilities in the Campus

Apart from academic infrastructure, multiple other important facilities are available on the Brainware University campus.

• Hostels: The university offers hostel facilities to both boys and girls who cannot travel long distances to study at the university. There are two separate buildings of hostel for boys and girls, with arrangements varying from a single bed to four-bed accommodation.
• Canteen: The canteen has its own building with three floors reserved to sit, relax and enjoy a meal. The canteen staff provides affordable and delicious meals. It works from noon to night, taking care of the food intake of all students including non-resident students.

• Food Court: A place for everyone to have snacks, breakfast and beverages round the clock. It is open till 7 PM.

• Auditorium: All the special events that are celebrated on various occasions need a proper place to be executed, for which the university has developed the auditorium on its campus.

• Sports Ground: Situated between the boys’ and girls’ hostel, the sports ground is a place for sports and recreational purposes for the students.
• Gymnasium: Another place to ensure the fitness and well-being of the students that is rare in other educational institutes. The gymnasium consists of its own trainer/instructor to guide the students.

The campus area of Brainware University has everything that a student needs to thrive in an educational institute. The campus provides all the supporting amenities that a student wishes for in a college.
