My experience has taught me that with hard work everything is possible.

The best thing about life is that it’s not a straight path. It consists of many turning points which can lift or bring down any person in his/her career. These turning points can change your life completely and can help you grow and evolve as a person. In the life of a student at primary-level education, there are basically two turning points i.e. after 10th standard (which field we should opt for?) and after 12th standard (which course we should opt for?) In both the cases, the problem is that the students are not given proper information regarding the respective fields, that’s why the students who are unaware about these courses take the wrong decision and struggle in their career.

Students should be provided with a proper knowledge of every field at the primary-level. In our country, the student chooses a field on the basis of result. The result is only the percentage of your learning. For example, if you got 80/100 i.e. you understood 80% of the topic out of all, it does not mean that you are somewhere inferior to or less than others. The mentality of parents and students is the same i.e. Non-Medical/Medical students are superior to Commerce and Arts, which is wrong. In the professional world, what matter the most are knowledge and perfection. You should have a deep knowledge of your field and be perfect in it and believe me, nobody can stop you from becoming a successful person in life. In any case, the student should not be pressurized into choosing a particular career. Let them decide what they want to be.

After 12th standard, the major struggle starts i.e. building a career. Here too, the problem is the same; the students are not provided with the right kind of counselling. This is the most stressful phase for any student who has just passed his/her senior secondary education. The students who scored well in their 12th standard will get good colleges, their choices of courses; they could also get scholarships in their esteemed colleges. sStudents with sounf financial background can easily take admission in private colleges and can continue their higher studies (even though they got average marks). Students who score low marks and belong to the middle section of the society face the real crisis. They have aspirations but no resources. They don’t  get better colleges and they cannot go to private colleges either.

In such a case, a student should be patient  and should try to sort out that what they have to do to build their professional career. Then he/she should search the college on the Internet (private as well as government), and after this, he/she should analyze each and every college criteria. This will help him/her shortlist the best suitable college in which he/she can seek admission with the marks obtained in 12th standards. The second approach is that if the student is not getting the course which he/she wants to do, then he/she can go for the private college, and can filter from the list of various private colleges that offer that the course of his/her choice. In case of private colleges, you also have to take care of your pocket, because the private colleges have a higher fee as compared to the government ones. Sometimes, in case of government colleges, you may not get the course you applied for and will be offered another course instead., In this case, you have to decide that “will this course be beneficial for you?” or “do you have an interest in the course being offered?”

You should be clear in your mind about the course you want to pursue and according to that, you can appear in their respective entrance exams..

The only thing that matters is your desire to become successful, the passion to achieve your goals and believe me, no one can stop you from being successful in life. Never try to copy your friends or relatives.. We all are individuals, and we all have some speciality. The only thing that matters is your desire.

Never get discouraged by others’ words. work hard and prove them wrong. To all my friends and my readers who spent their valuable time in reading this article, I want to suggest to them that nothing in this world is superior or inferior, all the fields are respectable. Your knowledge and the perfection with which you do a job will make your future. A student should pursue the course in which he/she has interest and can make a career in it. Never pursue the course under pressure from your parents and relatives. Always remember the words of Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft “If you were born poor, it’s not your mistake, but if you die poor, it’s your mistake”. Start working hard for your career as only hard work can ensure success.
