Kite Flying Event: This event is held every year in the month of July after the admissions of first-year students. This event is organised by the Renaissance Society to spread the message of anti-ragging. Kites, threads and other stuff are distributed to every student of various streams and courses. Students gather with all their stuff on the football ground and celebrate this event with joy.

Anti-Ragging Poster Making: As the name suggests, this event also spreads awareness of anti-ragging. This event is organised by the Footprints Society of the college. Students take part in this even actively every year. Winners and runner-ups are given cash prizes and certificates by the director of the college.

Effulgence Event: This event is organised by the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. This event consists of various technical rounds like making circuit boards and non-technical rounds like puzzles, quizzes, etc. Students from every stream participate in this event and winners are given cash prizes and certificates from the Head of the Department.

Technozaree Event: This event is organised by Civil Engineering Department. It consists of a treasure hunt, puzzle-solving and the last round that consists of engineering drawing. Winners are awarded cash prizes and certificates from the Head of the Department.

Saksham Event: It is the inter-departmental annual college sports fest. It has the highest number of participants in sports events like badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, athletics, cricket, table tennis, tug-of-war, chess, carom, pool, kabaddi, kho-kho, athletics and powerlifting. This event is one of the famous and two-month-long fests held in the college. Winners are given medals, trophies, and certificates at the final closing ceremony of this event.

Holi Celebration: Every year in the month of March, Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College celebrates colorful festival of Holi on the football ground with DJs playing Holi songs. Organic gulal and sweets are distributed to every student on the ground itself. 

Freshers' Party: Every year in the month of August, after the admission of the first-year students, a freshers' party is organised by the second-year students to welcome newcomers.

Farewell Party: Every year in the month of July, after the final examinations of the final year students, a farewell party is organised to say goodbye to seniors. Pre-final year students host this party for their seniors.

CAD-omania:  Samveg, the Technical Society of the Mechanical Engineering Department organises this event every year. This event is open to all students. This event consists of two rounds, one written and one designing round. Winner and runner-ups are awarded cash prizes and certificates.  

Chitij: It is a small singing event organised by the Euphony Society. Members of this society with their band group perform on stage with various instruments. All students are welcomed in this event.
