For me, nothing would be more important than studying. I have never skipped a lecture, says Shruthi
Being good at studies I majored in my junior college in Science. I went with the flow and advice of my parents and did not choose a particular preference. In Class 11 and 12, Biology was one of my favorite subjects. I tried for MBBS, BPH but since securing admission was difficult due to low score I decided to pursue B.Pharm to stay within the pharma profession.
I was a NEET aspirant. I studied for two years to get into a government MBBS/BPH college. I had also given the MH-CET entrance exam. I didn't want to take a year off and Since I got low marks in NEET, I enrolled myself for a pharmacy degree.
At the time of admission, I struggled to find a suitable college within Mumbai which has the best facilities, campus and Teaching staff.
For me, nothing would be more important than studying. I have never skipped a lecture.
I prefer attending lectures, taking notes and referring comfortably on my own time. It becomes a bit easier, particularly during exams.
In college, I participate in events, quizzes, sports, and writing contests. I am also a part of the student council. Being a class representative is extremely stressful. But since it’s a new experience I'm cherishing every moment and progressing forward to sharpening my leadership skills.
When I decided to pursue a degree in Pharmacy I was unsure. Yet currently as I am studying pharmacy but on other hand, I am also a writer on social media, it’s something I really enjoy. Hence in the future I would seek an opportunity for a job in the medical writing field where I can combine my pharmacy knowledge and writing passion.
