Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Gujarat University

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is a key seminar at Gujarat University. EDC is a platform that offers training, seminars and workshops to students to help them become more entrepreneurial. The aim of the program is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful entrepreneurs. In addition, EDC offers networking opportunities and mentoring programs to connect students with successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

Industrial-Academic Cooperation Program

The University of Gujarat Industrial-Academic Cooperation Program is another important program. Through this program, the university collaborates with various companies to offer students real experiences. Through this program, students acquire practical industry knowledge and skills. Students are offered internships, live projects and hands-on instruction from industry experts.

Established in 1949, Gujarat University is one of the oldest and the largest universities in India. It is NAAC accredited Grade 'B' university that was founded under Gujarat University Act. Gujarat University has been ranked at 61 position out of the top 100 universities in India by NIRF in 2023. Its notable alumni include Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Home Minister of India Amit Shah, and prominent businessman Mr Gautam Adani. According to Gujarat University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during Gujarat University PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 8.55 LPA.
