I'm satisfied with the college, and it is well-known throughout Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Placement depends on the department, not on the students. If you are from the CSE department, you can get placed, but if you are from the Mechanical and Automobile department, it will be trouble. In the Computer Science department, all the students are placed in an IT company, but in other departments, only 15 to 20 students got placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and it is traditional, which was built 70 years ago. It is a continuously developing college because 65% of the income will be given to the importance of infrastructure, and it is continuously done by the principal, Prakasan Sir.

Faculty: The teachers in the college are reading and finishing the course in the same college, even they have advantages and disadvantages. There are good teachers, even if you are bad at marks, they give respect for the discipline and activities. There are some bad teachers, even if you are good at marks, they will fail.

Other: Scholarships are given based on caste. If you are from the BC category, you will get Rs. 10,000.

The college is really good, and they have good placements for students.

Placements: There must be a CGPA above 6.5 and no standing arrears. There are many visitors I didn't know about that I am pursuing in the upcoming 2 years. I will know about that in the upcoming years. The package for top courses is 52 Lacs per annum and a minimum of 6 LPA. About 80% are getting placed. I am going to attend the interviews on campus.

Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The quality of food is not very good. The only thing is we need to eat because we have paid for a mess. It feels like the menu was different, but there is no taste. It takes only 30 minutes to register. There are three classes of rooms: 96000, 1,32,000, 1,13,000. Based on your wish, a room will be allocated.

Faculty: I was actually interested in automation. I like machines very much. I chose on my own wish. All staff were Ph.D. holders and had 15+ years of experience. The training method is easy and technical. By PPTs explanation, there are only 2 internals exams. Next semester, nothing is difficult in exams.

Other: There are 2 Teach events by college. In that, one is an intercollegiate event known as Shristi at the start of academic class months like September, October. We have a separate building for the library. There are lacs of books on 4 floors, and the class atmosphere is very good. They give a lot of importance to sports, and we conduct many sports events in the college. There are 20+ clubs run by students.

A very good college in Coimbatore.

Placements: Most of our senior batch placed this year. The highest salary package is Rs. 1 CPA. Caterpillar, etc. We are the top recruiting companies for our courses. The class will get an internship during their third-year semester holidays. Automobile engineer is one of the top roles offered in my course.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities in my college, such as Wi-Fi, computer labs, libraries, etc. The qualities of the mess and hostel are very good. The quality of the food available are very good and equal importance given to sports as to studies .

Faculty: The teaching was so helpful to clear the semester exams and knowledgeable. The teachers are qualified, and the teaching was so friendly to the courses. It contains so much practical learning and teaching skills, and the semester exams are so tough.

Placements: Almost 75% of students get placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. It is a good place to learn and improve your skills.

Placements: About 8% is good for placements. The percentage is not a factor for placements. The average salary package is 3.5 LPA and the maximum is 11.5 LPA. Tata, Ford, Tafe, etc., are the top recruiters. Internships do not depend on your percentage; anyone can go for internships. You can go to any foreign company for an internship, but you must need an 80%.

Infrastructure: Separate labs are there, and it's useful to improve your knowledge. The hostel is very good. There is no ragging, it is like home. Healthy and tasty foods are available in the hostel, and the hostel staff are very friendly. There is no power cut, and many more facilities are there, like high-speed Wi-Fi, etc.

Faculty: There are very skilled teachers, and the teaching quality is good. There are two industries: the heavy engineering division and the rotor manufacturing division. It's helpful to learn.

Other: Semester fees are a little bit high compared to other colleges. Many clubs are there to show off your extra activities or subject-related activities.

I am satisfied with the college in TamilNadu.

Placements: More than 75% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 1.6 LPA, the highest salary package offered is 25 LPA and the average salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Google, Wipro, Amazon, Hyundai, Daimler, TCS, CTS, Microsoft, Volkswagen and Ashok Leyland. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 9 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship in Daimler, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai and Brakes India.

Infrastructure: Our college provides four wheeler lab, automation lab, robotics, two-wheeler lab, autotronics lab, fluid lab, SOM lab, engines lab, libraries and canteens. The hostel serves good food, and the hostel council will change the menu. All games like football, volleyball, shuttle and basketball are available here. They also provide easy medical remedies in PSG hospitals.

Faculty: Every teacher in our college is a doctorate and good. They are well-experienced, calm and friendly. Their teaching is awesome, and you can clarify your internal doubts easily. The course curriculum is relevant, and our college has the industry at the back to gain industry knowledge and classes over it.

Good facilities and good placements.

Placements: Placements were increased when compare with the last year (2017). But when compared with the 2016 year, placements were low for our batch. The highest salary offered was around 9 Lacs and the lowest was around 3 Lacs. Companies like Caterpillar, Tata, Nissan, Mahindra, Hyundai, Bajaj, TVS, Robert Bosch, Hinduja Tech, Ninja Cart, Bridge I2I etc. Were came.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very poor. But the education is not depended upon infrastructure know. So, although the infrastructure is poor, our college (PSG Tech) holds the number 1 position in Tamilnadu which is a proud part of college. Sports and games were also entertained and it is good college. Wi-Fi facility is little bit poor and for everything we need a letter to get permission.

Faculty: The teachers were good and knowledgeable only. But when viewed in our Department, the teachers were lagging in knowledge. We didnt got much industry exposure. From my view, overall college is very good in everything. Every students should try for this college.

Top College in Tamil Nadu with a great brand name.

Placements: Placement for Automobile engineering is very much poor compared to other branches like mechanical and production. This year only 35% of the students were placed in various companies which is the lowest ever. Companies like Ford, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Renault visited the campus but only some 3-5 students were placed in such core companies while remaining went to IT Companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college may not be what you expect from a premier institution of the country. Infrastructure is not top class or posh if compared to colleges like VIT, SRM etc. But the college has excellent lab facilities and if you are willing to learn and grow, then this is a place for you. Wi-Fi is not available in the campus, classrooms are ordinary with a few air-conditioned ones, Library is good enough with adequate numbers of volumes. Canteen food is cheap though there could introduce some varieties of food. College is a bit congested as it lacks space being in the center of the city.

Faculty: PSG Tech is an autonomous institution which means syllabus is framed and exams are conducted by the college itself. Course is updated every 2-3 years according to the needs of the industry. There are enough numbers of faculty members being a premier college most of them are doctorates. Some faculty members are very good but most of the new recruits are poor when it comes to teaching. It depends on which department you are studying.

Other: College lacks festival celebrations like pongal, onam, Christmas etc. And you will be missing that part of college life. Intrams is a major cultural event in the institution and Kriya is the major technical event. There are numerous clubs like entrepreneurs club, English literary society, Global leaders Forum, Pegasus Racing, NSS etc. Where you could join and improve your skills. Campus crowd is mostly Tamil Nadu students who get admission through Anna University counseling, So it lacks a multicultural environment. College is also good when it comes to sports and has a top class indoor basketball stadium, tennis court, football etc.

Sorry to inform you but PSG does not accept JEE marks. No, JEE marks are accepted. Students can join PSG through counseling conducted by Anna University. You should apply for counseling and by rank, you can join PSG. Also, there are management seats in PSG. You can visit the college admission office

What is the admission procedure of PSG College of Technology for BE in automobile engineering?

Hello sanjai, PSG admits students based on two ways for engineering. One is via JEE exam scores and the other way is through board exam marks. If you haven't appeared for JEE, you can get admission based on 12th marks. Other than these, you can go for management quota if you wish to.

It depends upon your marks in class 12th and JEE marks and if you talk about average then it is approximately 2 lakhs donation for theses branded college. So don't think about this and study well.
