Our college provides good teachers, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 56% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Daimler, Caterpillar, Trance Analytics, Qauntiphi Analytics, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Laboratory facility is good. Hostel facilities are better. Wi-Fi is also available on our campus. The food quality is decent. Canteen facility is also available. Hospitals are provided for emergencies. Sports are not good.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are conducted based on Bloom's Taxonomy. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it is the top course available in Tamil Nadu. Every month events, symposiums, and fests are conducted in our college.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Caterpillar and other companies recruit students from our college. Many students get internships in our department from Caterpillar, Hyundai and Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available. The best facilities and infrastructure are available for our department. The quality of facilities in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and labs is good. Grounds are available. The best lab facilities and engines are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are easy. The pass percentage is 50%.

All facilities in our college are great.
Placements: Students can get placements, and nearly 200 students got recruited. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is nearly 10 LPA. Many high-profile companies like Google, Microsoft, Tata and many others recruit students here.
Infrastructure: Hostels are great and affordable as compared to others, with great housekeeping. Facilities like a playground, gym, high-speed Wi-Fi and a library are also available. Teachers are also available in the hostel so they can clarify our doubts at any time. The sports ground consists of a cricket pitch, football ground, hockey ground, volleyball ground, badminton ground and badminton too.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind and friendly with us. They are very helpful and always try to help in any way they could. They always help from getting books to know how to be in interviews too. They are a big asset to the students, and they help to achieve heights.
Other: This college gives not only good studies but also gives extracurricular activities as well. Students have plenty of opportunities to show or test students' talent in any field. Events occur frequently, and all the responsibility is taken by students to maintain everything.

Placements: In our college, out of 120 students, 80 members got placed either in IT companies or core companies. The maximum salary offered is about Rs. 60,000 per month and minimum salary offered is about Rs. 20,000 per month. Hyundai, Ford, Ashok Leyland and Caterpillar are the top recruiting companies of our college. Manager post is offered to the students. Nearly 80% of the students got an internship in companies like Hyundai, Ashok Leyland and in some service centres.
Infrastructure: Our department has good Wi-Fi facility with different research labs for both part-time and full-time scholars. Smart classrooms are also developed for students. There are nearly 9 hostels which serve good food with medium fees. There is a health centre with an ambulance facility. Playground facility is also available, and both inner and outer games are concentrated.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well-qualified and have a friendly character at working. They have sufficient knowledge, and they update with current affairs to enhance students skills. The syllabus is related to the current affairs of the core field, students need and placement based.
Other: The main reason to enrol the course is about interest. The automobile department is based on the study of cars and engines. The best thing about our course is to study the current trending and designing of the vehicles. There are two national-level symposia conducted here with different events, and the campus crowd is about 4,000 students. Surroundings are good, and many scholarships are available here. They also provide different sports and many skill development organisation like PDA, NSS, YRC, etc.

It is the best college in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: As far as the placemets in core companies for the automobile department are concerned, top automobile companies around Chennai visit the campus for placements. They will select a few students. Some IT companies also recruit automobile students. Leading companies like Ford, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, and Fiat, etc., visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Since it's a government college, the infrastructure is not too good and is not maintained properly. The campus is too small for such a large population of students and staff. The college environment is clean and too good. Our campus is one of the coolest campuses in Chennai. Food served in the hostel and canteen is good, and they are maintained properly.
Faculty: Professors in the college are too good and very talented. They all work in different national level projects of automobile field. They are student friendly and share their entire knowledge with the students. There are 60 students allocated to each staff member. Industrial exposure will be provided by the recommendation of professors at the end of the semester. The syllabus is too good that some students even cleared GATE exam easily.
Other: There are two fests conducted each on odd and even semesters. The college population is high because of such demanding courses. The college provides 24 hours Wi-Fi facility. It is surrounded completely by nature. The transport facilities are very good. Many scholarships are provided for all the students. Other than that, activities like YRC, NSS, NCC, blood donation camp, and visual companion are conducted daily.

Being an MITian is awesome.
Placements: Our college provides some of the best placements in the state. All reputed companies like Ford, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Caterpillar, Daimler, Fiat India and Fiat Chrysler visit our campus to offer placements. Placements for our batch and senior batch were good. Currently, there is an issue due to the high intake, but you can survive outside with the reputation of the college. It has strong alumni connect which helps you in all means.
Infrastructure: Older buildings and classrooms will give you the effect of being in a premier old institution. Projects are going on to provide the latest classrooms. The college has very good laboratories and equipment which is unique in the country. Hostel rooms are way better for a government college. South Indian, as well as North Indian food items, are served in the mess. Internet facilities are good, and you won't be facing any major issues apart from water scarcity which is common in Chennai and its surroundings during summer.
Faculty: The college has experienced faculty members. Most of them have done their PhDs in well-known universities. Teaching quality is good and easy to adapt even for the students from Tamil medium. The student-faculty ratio is good. The industry exposure provided is very good due to the strong alumni connect of our college. The course curriculum was a little outdated during my tenure; it might have been revamped by now. I am not sure about the current situation.

The best college a student can get in Tamil Nadu - MIT.
Placements: Placements are Good, with companies like Fiat, Renault-nissan recruiting students and also off-campus placements in Daimler, Vestas etc. Though the industry is on the verge of getting obsolete and moving towards electric mobility, companies recruit students from our college as they identify prospective and highly equipped minds.
Infrastructure: As a government college, one can expect all kinds of equipments necessary for the course, like dynamometers, labs and also the new Siemes project has enabled the construction of state of the art laboratory aimed at CAE and CAM analysis. Classes are also undertaken for the betterment of the students.
Faculty: The best teachers you can get in a college. Highly helpful and skilled teachers with a more progressive and experienced minds. For each subject, about 50 students are guided by one staff. Still the students are easily taught all the basics and the in-depth theories of the industry, enabling them to perform better in the exams and real life scenarios.

Absolutely satisfied because of senior and junior relationship.
Placements: Placement was good upto the year of 2012, after that the placement starts to decreases, but IT company placements were high and core company placements are low. Our college friends are good at management and other skills also, as there are many other departments, other than the studies, such as PDA, CSMIT, Rotaract, MITRA, we are organising many events, they are also useful in placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi are good, labs are better. Classroom are good, library contains more than 60000 books, sports and games we have ground, which is 500 m away from the college, near marutham hostel. Food are very good. Monday, wednesday, thursday, friday and sunday, non veg foods are provided, daily egg is provided at lunch, fishes also provided tuesday. Canteen are also good and foods are at low price.
Faculty: Each and every faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are good in teaching, they allow us to learn something new about the technologies. They gives us every updates. Testing is the important thing to improve our knowledge, they help us to test the parts of automobile in our own hand.
Other: The biggest and the oldest cultural fest - MITAFEST in even sem.
SIVARANJINI is also one of the fest of MIT in odd sem.
PDA- Persofest in even sem.
RCMIT - ROTOFEST in odd sem, sparishin even sem.
TED in even sem.
MITRA in even sem.
and also symposium for every department.
