Review about my experience in VVCE.

Placements: Only about 40% of students were placed from the civil engineering branch, but the overall placement of the college was good (around 70%). The highest package was 4.15 LPA, and the lowest was 1.6 LPA. Top recruiters were Sobha Ltd and Brigade. Almost everyone got an internship opportunity in our course. Top roles offered were Management Trainee and GET.

Infrastructure: The college has good laboratories, and the infrastructure is also good compared to other colleges in Mysore. The hostel facilities are good, but they are also expensive. The college has good elevators, nice classrooms, and they also have a sports complex on campus.

Faculty: The faculty are kind of mixed in quality. Some faculty members are extremely good, while the others are not. The curriculum is just the same as that of VTU. The exams are good, and most of the questions will be at the application level, so some people may find it difficult.

WorldClass Infrastructure, the latest lab equipment and library is big.

Placements: Good placements for those with brilliant mindset. Students should be skillful and be smart at their work. Bosch, wipro, google and many other companies recruit students form our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in our college is fast enough to access. Canteen is clean, food is well and good. Lab is clean and equipped with the latest instruments for the betterment of the students. Hostel facility is good. Many events and clubs are set up for young students to come forward and show their talents in various fields.

Faculty: Exams are quite difficult as the question paper is form vtu. Teaching staff is good. Industrial visits helps students to understand the concept in a easy way. Pass percentage is excellent. Every class is monitored and discipline is at its best. Cleanliness is the main motive of the college.

Other: Many industrial visits, Science projects, seminar are set up for students. Our annual fest is the greatest in the city. Students can also apply for scholarships.

I am very proud to say that I am a student of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering.

Placements: Many students got placed this year. The highest package offered is 15 LPA. Many companies come here, and many students got internships, including me. CS, IS, AI, ML, and CV courses are offered here. Joining this college is a good decision. I am proud to be a student of VVCE.

Infrastructure: Our campus has Wi-Fi facility. Our classrooms are excellent, and everything is very good. We have a library with many books. We have a good study environment. We have a discussion room where we can discuss with our friends.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good because they understand our feelings and thoughts, as they give us good thoughts. Many of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. The curriculum is very good. The college organises cultural programme events and expert talks about future. Placements related skills are provided. Semester exams are strict, and they conduct in an excellent manner.

VVCE is very good and provides good placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Our college is affiliated to VTU, and from 2020, it will be autonomous. NAAC has given accreditation. Infosys will recruit many of our students with an average salary package of 5 LPA. All the students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: We have well-equipped classrooms with CCTV, which imparts lecture capture, and there are projector and labs. The hostel facility is also good. They provide good food and a hygienic environment. Our college has separate hostels for boys and girls, and they have a security guard.

Faculty: Our lectures are very well qualified. They clear our doubts, and they are friendly with students. They provide placements and training classes to develop our skills. Our placement lectures are very qualified, and they tell us about the current affairs of society.

Other: I have chosen civil engineering because I want to work in the government sector. In our college, they conduct BARCAMPS, and there are other awareness clubs. Our college provides scholarships for rank holders.

One of the best VTU colleges.

Placements: Placements in our college are not bad as the college is still growing. For now, only CS IS and EC branch students are getting placed. Placements for civil and mechanical are rare. Since the college is accredited by NBA and will be hopefully accredited by AICTE, the placements will increase gradually.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and has a sufficient and sophisticated environment. The college also has a lecture capturing system which can be used by the students. The college has facilities like drinking water, gym, Wi-Fi and ATM.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and experienced. All of them will take a personal interest in every student while teaching, and they will provide what students request immediately. They will complete the syllabus from time to time. They also arrange technical talk from other college faculty members.

Other: Events will be arranged in every semester with students interest, and a college fest is organised every year in the month of March or April.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement training is not good when compared to other colleges in MYSORE. Though placement take place but not good when compared to autonomous colleges. CS and EC have good placements opportunities when compared to rest of the branches whiles placement not even occur to civil branch.

Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure facilities with all sophisticated labs and classroom. Classroom are provided with record camera which record the lecturing. College has drinking water facility, ATM facility, canteen, GYM and parking facility for all the vehicle.

Faculty: Faculty are friendly and helpful. They help us in any situation in achieving our goals to success. They complete the portions on time for us by scheduling the work in every month and finishing it on time. They help us clear our doubts and make us ready to face exams.

Other: We have the greatest college fest event in MYSORE, scholarship will be provided by college for backward class group.

Civil engineering department will offer internship for the students.

Placements: Even though college is started in 1997, college has the 100% placement for the eligible students since 2013, in the department of computer Science engineering and also information Science engineering department. Placement training has been given to student every year starting from 2nd semester.

Infrastructure: Since college is started in 1997, The college has very good infrastructure. There are 7 Block building Named as A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Even the college campus has the plant of space for upcoming infrastructure planning. Other than the block building there are some other useful buildings.

Faculty: There are around 15 to 20 staff are present only in civil engineering department. The head of the department is Dr. H. S. Dayanand who has the very good technical information and have teachings experience of over 30 years. Rest of the faculty are also well trained.

Other: Vidyuth is the annual fest conducted from the college and also offers sponsorship of 25000 Every year for the toppers of the class.

Good college with one of the best infrastructures in Mysore. Quality education along with placement.

Placements: Since the civil branch is new in the college, there is not much to expect when it comes to placements. Only 1 or 2 companies visit the campus for the placements, but the placement department is working on increasing this number. In 2017, two students were selected. Two of them were selected in Infosys, but they rejected it as it was not a civil based job.

Infrastructure: This college provides most of the facilities, which includes Wi-Fi up to 6 Mbps, well-equipped labs, medical facility, and there is not much space left in the college for sports like football or hockey, but there are other outdoor games such as basketball, volleyball, etc. Food available in the canteen is good. The whole campus is under CCTV, so there is no need to be afraid of ragging. It has got a good library. Ladies hostel is within the campus whereas boys hostel is outside campus, there are security guards near the gates 24X7.

Faculty: All the teachers are qualified with at least an M.Tech. Many lecturers completed their PhD. The lecturing is done in both traditional talk and chalk way as well as through projecting presentation on the screen. The special training will be conducted for personal development as well as for placement through Bizotic company. Training will also be provided for spoken English improvement.

Other: Many events are held throughout the academic year by different branches, and the fest will be done grandly.
