Why you should join The Oxford College of Engineering!

Placements: Around 10 students from all branches were placed. The highest package was 12.5 lacs. The lowest package was 4.5 lakhs per annum. 100 percent of internships were given to students from companies like Atkins and Jayram Construction. The top role was that of structural engineer.

Infrastructure: A 24-hour Wi-Fi facility, a well-equipped laboratory and a library with all the required books for all branches are there. Teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. The canteen is well maintained and has sufficient space to sit and eat. There are many sports, like football and basketball, for which college teams participate in university-level competitions.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders who have knowledge of what is required for the current industry. All courses are given workshops by companies on what they can aim to pursue after completing a degree. Semester exams are pretty easy. The passing percentage required is 40 percent for internals and externals.

Other: As a student of civil engineering, I would say the knowledge we gain is really beneficial for our future. There are many events held every year. Recently, an event known as Oxyignite was held. The campus is really good and I would recommend students join. There are many sports events held like chess competition, football, etc.

I am satisfied with faculty members.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Our college provides 100% internships and placements. More than 200 companies visited the campus for placements. Our college provided more than 550 offer letters. Amazon, HCL, SAP Labs, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have spacious classrooms, a library, well-equipped labs, a playground to play sports, and a spacious cafeteria. Our college provides separate hostels for girls and boys. They are well-maintained. There are different floors for each branch.

Faculty: Teachers are well-knowledgeable and have an idea of present industrial needs. Semester exams are easy to pass. The course provides relevant knowledge about industrial needs and makes us ready for jobs. All students pass exams with excellent marks.

It is a good college with a good infrastructure.

Placements: Around 80% of our seniors got placed. Our college has a very good and active placement cell, and many MNCs come to our college during placements. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA. Placement staff members are very helpful and supportive.

Infrastructure: The hostel can be improved a bit, but the college buildings are quite good with a very well-planned building layout. The library is well-stocked with a good amount of reference books. Classrooms are clean and tidy and can fit around 50-70 students. The canteen food is pretty good.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very resourceful. They help students whenever asked, and the overall teaching quality is very good. I think our curriculum is very good. It makes us industry-ready, due to which a very high number of students get placed.

This is the best college in Bangalore.

Placements: The placement drives are held in our college, and a maximum number of students got placed, nearly 60-80% of students, in different companies like NCC, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Indian Navy, Infosys etc. The average package offered is 2.2-4.5 lacs per annum. Most of the students are happy.

Infrastructure: The fee is 50,000-70,000 per year. We have all facilities, including food and Wi-Fi. There are single, double and three-sharing rooms available. They are cleaned every day. Gym facilities are available. The NRI hostel is also good and clean.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are well qualified and experienced. They are very good at teaching in different attractive methods. They are very helpful for us when we face difficulties in our studies. They are friendly with us.

Other: Our college provides internship programs, but I never participated in it. So, I don't have much idea regarding that, but a few of my friends took part in it, and their feedback is good.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students become eligible for placements from their 7th semester. Students are placed in many companies such as Amazon, TCS etc. The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and the average package would be around 4 LPA. 50% of students got placed from college.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided in our college are good, which is necessary for the overall development of the students. It is well maintained. Our college has a hygienic canteen. The civil department has very well structured classrooms. The library has a good number of books for a better understanding of the subjects.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and are very supportive mentors. Their teaching quality is very good, and they are also more helpful in projects. The course curriculum helps students to improve their managing skills and also give importance to higher education.

Other: Our annual fest is usually conducted in March. The campus has exquisite greenery, which gives anybody the impression of a well-reputed and established college.

I had a wonderful experience so far. It has good faculty and good infrastructure with placements.

Placements: A good percentage of students got placed with pretty good salary packages from here. About 70%-80% of the students got placed from here. The placements are provided through campus interviews. The highest salary package offered here was 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Students are trained for interviews to give their best.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very well maintained and kept clean here. There are good classrooms with smart boards, and Wi-Fi is provided. There is a library to engage in. The quality of the food served in the mess is good, and the canteen is excellent. Medical and sports facilities are also provided.

Faculty: The teaching quality is at its best here. Teachers here are well qualified with excellent teaching skills. The course curriculum really makes students industry-ready through the programs and workshops conducted by the college. Our college also provides personality development classes for students to get prepared for the interview.

Other: I chose civil engineering as I have an interest in it, and I want to be an entrepreneur. Our college also provides camps for practical experience for students. Extracurricular activities should be improved. However, the campus surroundings are wonderful and give a very good vibe.

Don't opt this college for pursuing engineering.

Placements: The college advertises fake placements. Placement officer is just for the comedy and doesn't have an idea of inviting good companies. They don't even check for the details of companies before inviting them. There is no place for taking the interview session in college.

Infrastructure: The college does not even care if the metro train is coming. Our college has the worst infrastructure in Bangalore. Wi-Fi is installed for no reason and use. The college never gives what they had promised for. Washrooms were not cleaned, and they were dirty.

Faculty: Politics in the staffroom is the worst. Most of the faculty members are biased. They don't even care for students' capability. They don't even conduct farewell for the outgoing batch.

Other: Events and fests are conducted very rarely. Even if they take place, it's the worst. Hostel food is the worst. Management has the supreme power, but it is not at all responsible for anything.

Infrastructure, facilities, sports, and campus are good. But I'm not satisfied with placements.

Placements: No company visited the campus to hire the students of the civil department. They only provided technical training. Placements in our college are very poor. Only one or two companies visit the campus for placements. Around two students were placed with a package of 3 LPA from our senior batch. Students were offered roles such as a site engineer. Internships were also provided for students. The placement cell is available with good architecture. It is useful for CS and EC departments.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. There are best roads available on the campus. The campus atmosphere is quite good. There is no open Wi-Fi facility available for students. Labs are good. Most of the labs are equipped with digital equipment. Classrooms are very spacious and well-lit. The library available here is excellent. Medical facilities available here are also good. Sports and games facilities are also good. We also have a separate department for sports.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good. The civil department has good faculty members. They are good and friendly. Teaching techniques are good, and even the quality of teaching is good here. They are highly experienced. Our HOD is awesome, and he is the person behind the success of the civil department and its students. They also organise industrial visits. The course curriculum is useful for students.

Other: Events like Kannada Rajyothsava, college fests, ethnic day and many others are usually organised here. The crowd is awesome, especially the students of the civil department. There are many big housing apartments and companies all around the campus. The college is situated beside the main road. Scholarships are also provided without any issues.
