In addition to innovative course curriculum, BBA course entails soft skills, communication skills and analytical skills training that lead to all round personality development. From day 1, a practice-based learning approach is inculcated in the students where students not just merely read and learn about the aspects of business management in their books but implement them in real life. The university has numerous student clubs and organizations run by students themselves that organize national as well as international events in the campus. In fact, the university campus is flooded with student-run ventures and businesses. Some of the on-campus businesses run by LPU students include E-rikshaw, high-end modern and traditional cafes & shops and, a student run UNI-Mall that has over 70 shops.

From formulating a strategic plan and implementing the idea to doing legal formalities and gathering funding sources, the business development mentors and experts at LPU guide the budding entrepreneurs at every step until their business idea is implemented. Some of the ventures by LPU alumni include Dry Tickets, Australia; GridLocate, UK; Pink Hand Technologies, Delhi and; Finesse, Delhi .
