The placement rate is calculated basis the total students against the number of students placed and students opted for higher studies.

The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into AIIMS Delhi without NEET is possible if applying for courses such as BSc, MSc, PB BSc Nursing, MD, MS, DM and MCh, among various others, apart from MBBS. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.

AIIMS Delhi is a government institute located in New Delhi. The institute was established in 1952 and received the 'Autonomous' status in 1956. All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi is one of the best medical institutes in the country and is also recognised as an 'Institute of National Importance'. The institute offers various programmes across Medical, Nursing, and Paramedical streams.

Candidates willing to take part in the AIIMS Delhi admission process must apply before the last date of application. Candidates must know their AIIMS Delhi eligibility criteria before applying online. At the undergraduate level, AIIMS Delhi offers BSc and MBBS programmes to students. At the postgradaute level, AIIMS Delhi offers MSc, MD,  MS, and other courses. 

AIIMS Delhi EWS category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBBS on the basis of NEET UG exam results. The last round cutoff was closed at 214. In 2023 and 2022, the closing ranks among the EWS AI category were 258 and 195, respectively. Therefore, looking at the cutoff ranks, it was evident that the cutoff has been fluctuating among the EWS category canidates since the past three years.

The MBBS course curriculum also includes a 12-month long, compulsory internship. NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM (IST). NTA conducted the exam in 571 cities across India and abroad. Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to tough. NEET is a paper-pencil based test (PBT) consisting of a total of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Out of this, candidates had to attempt 180 questions. The total marks of the exam is 720.
