The curriculum design of the BSc course in Amrita School of Allied Health Sciences includes CBCS semester pattern, hence it is a six semester course. In this curriculum design, the students get an opportunity to learn in a flexible environment by choosing the electives along with core subjects. The semester-wise syllabus ensures comprehensive coverage of the topics that are essentially important, along with theoretical and practical aspects. The BSc courses include various streams at the Amrita School of Allied Health Sciences, namely Respiratory Therapy and Anaesthesia Technology. It is a choice-based credit system and follows a six-semester system whereby one can opt for the choice of electives in addition to the core subjects. Emphasis is given to hands-on practical learning along with theoretical classes. The curriculum integrates theoretical inputs with practical training on the latest technology and equipment that find applications in a real-world environment for career opportunities.

Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, namely BSc, MSc, MHA and MPH, among others. Admission to a few courses is entrance or interview-based. However, there is still a wide range of courses admission to which is subject to the merit scores obtained by the students in the last qualifying exam. For most courses that offer entrance-based admission, 50% of the seats ate reserved for students with merit scores and the remaining 50% of seats are reserved for Management seats.
