Nice college but faculty members are fast, no non-veg, mess food is below average.
Placements: In our college, 85 to 90% of students are placed in a year. Despite their packages per annum, many are placed here corresponding to their work, project, and skills. The highest package recorded as 37 LPA, and in the worst case 3 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in our college. Classrooms are clean and neat. We have a good library with many available books either for subject related or story books. Wi-Fi is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and qualified but they go fast while teaching. It is the students' responsibility to catch them and go parallel to the topic. Faculty members are meant for only explaining and lecturing again it's students' responsibility to be ready for industrial problems. Faculty members are good and experienced. But they go fast, students need to catch them, and students should be thorough with the topic.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering with specialisation in artificial intelligence and data science which is trending now (upto 2030).

You can come if you only want to study here.
Placements: The placements in the college on campus are average when compared with top private colleges in India. The average package in the college is around 7 to 8 LPA. Especially in the school of computing, the placements are good and there are more recruitment by TCS and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Food is not as good as their home food. You can get quality food, but it's not tasty. The hostels are purely vegetarian, where you cannot even get eggs. There are all types of facilities available on the campus, like a gym, Wi-Fi, library, etc. You can play many games on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers at the Sastra University are qualified, and all the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The courses are updated, and are new ones. Students can learn more things that are needed or not needed. The semester exams are not too difficult but not too easy.

Absolutely satisfied because of the fee structure and good campus placements in 2024.
Placements: Most of the students are placed with average package of 7 LPA - 8 LPA CTC in good companies like Zespay, Deolitte, Cognizant, TCS, etc. At the end of 7th semester all students will get internships in top companies and new startups with decent packages. You can expect good placements here.
Infrastructure: College is full of Wi-Fi but highly restricted to laptops. Classrooms are neat and clean, spacious with good ventilation. In the library, you can find many books to enhance your knowledge in subjects. The main thing here is food, you can't even eat. I am from Andhra seriously I don't like this food.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. But coming to maths subject, they are not much expected. In this course, the curriculum is relevant to industry projects. Coming to exams mid and semester exams are more difficult, you need to study hard and prepare well for exams.
Other: I chose AI&this because the world is changing towards AI. It has big career opportunities in the field of data science.

This is my own personal opinion.
Placements: I have enquired about placements with seniors and one of our faculty; they said companies are coming. Most of the companies coming at first are startup companies, and after that, companies like Infosys and PayPal are coming. I think the top recruiting company is PayPal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available on the campus is good. We can make use of it whenever we want. According to hostel rooms, they are good, the common area is well maintained, and the canteen is hygienic, but the taste is not that great. Games can be played in the area available around the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-informed. The quality of teaching is also appreciable. The pass percentage is more than 80%, I think. The course that we are learning is industry-ready, and we can learn more things. Semester examinations are not that easy.

SASTRA University is a center of research.
Placements: Above 75% of students in this college get placements every year. In the last year, the highest package was 36 LPA, and the lowest package was 6 LPA. The average package was 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tata, TCS, PayPal, etc. Nearly 30% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good and it is available in classrooms, library, and hostels. There is very slow internet, which is convenient for research. Students can access Wi-Fi easily by asking permission from the college. The infrastructure is good. It has a good library, labs, and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good, very helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is good. It is a 78% value for money. It is reasonable compared to other colleges. Overall, I had a good experience in college. Exams are tough but manageable. The pass percentage is good. Overall, it is a good college. Teachers are experienced and they teach well. They explain concepts clearly. In office hours, they are available for doubts (but they do not have time). Faculty support students in projects sometimes and in research.
