Highlight placements infra connections and events.
Placements: We need to study hard and maintain a better CGPA to aim for better company placements. Many companies visit during the summer internship and are used to hiring students and many students use to go off campus with their skills. Average placement is about 10LPA.
Infrastructure: Good and silent and can travel a greater distance inside campus. Many trees and all the shops for your needs stationery from ATM bank to cafe food court everything is inside. Hostel food is perfect. There is a wide variety of bookings for the hostel mess food too.
Faculty: Good policy of FFCS to choose slots and faculty flexible curriculum. It helps us in the flexible curriculum to study and we also have a foreign language to study. There are 3 exams CA1 CA2 and a final and we have lab and theory separate exams. CAT 2 will be open book.

Review of Vellore Institute of Technology - Chennai Campus.
Placements: I am currently in the 2nd year of my course, B.Tech CSE (AI&ML). The main reason I joined this college is the placements opportunities it offers. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 crore per annum and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA. This data is from last year, as the current year placements are ongoing. Placements percentage is around 93%.
Infrastructure: The attractive part of this college is the campus infrastructure and hostel. It is very well-planned and built. Whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. Labs of all courses are very well-equipped with top-class equipment. The quality of food provided in the hostel is excellent.
Faculty: Every professor in our college is highly qualified with a PhD in at least one subject. Their teaching techniques are really good. The difficulty of exams is moderate would be the most appropriate way to describe it. The pass percentage is above 80%.

Placements: About 92% of the students are placed with the highest package being around 1.1 crores LPA, the lowest package being 4 LPA, and the average being 8.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Adobe, etc. As a student here, I am proud to share the experience of my college which holds high ranks in several ranking systems.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with good Wi-Fi facilities and modern labs, spacious classrooms, and a huge library. Mess food is average, and the cleanliness quotient of the mess and bathrooms is also average. Hostel buildings are well maintained with amenities such as 24X7 security, laundry services, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified but an accent change makes their speech difficult to understand the subject while teaching which often gets the students frustrated with them. The course curriculum is designed to be relevant to the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence in computer science. Semester exams are comprehensive and challenging, designed to assess students of the subjects.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in technology and it’s promising career prospects. Campus is vibrant, with numerous events and fests, a diverse crowd, good connectivity, and modern facilities.

A good last option for students who don't want to take a drop year.
Placements: Almost everybody gets placed in <5 LPA jobs. Dream and Super Dream jobs are provided to those with no standing arrears and a good CGPA. This year's placement hasn't been as good as previous years. I will wait for the placement report before making any comments.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well ventilated and have projectors; labs are well-equipped and have AC. Mess food is average; both North Indian and South Indian food is served. Hostel rooms are less spacious but have all the facilities. All rooms and toilets are cleaned daily.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the courses are good. Exam patterns are designed to reduce stress on students. A normal subject usually has six modules. CAT 1 contains two modules. CAT is an open book and contains two modules. FAT contains all modules. In addition, we have digital assignments and quizzes. To pass, we have to secure 40/100 in FAT and 50/100 overall.

I am very happy and proud to be a VITIAN. The placements are the key points to be noted here.
Placements: Our college always offers placements for each and every student in 3 categories, mainly super dream, dream and regular placement offers. The studenwill be able to get a placvery easily through these options. So regular placement will be of around 2-5 Lacs and dream will be of 5-10 Lacs and super dream offers will be of above 10 Lacs.
Infrastructure: We have all kinds of very good facilities. We have mainly 4 academic buildings allover the campus, the campus is surrounded with green trees and grass everywhere. We have a well-equipped labs in our college. We also have a central Library with all kinds of books. We also have a sports room in which we get all the equipment. We have crickeground, foot ball ground, basketball ground badminton courts in our college, we get free Wi-Fi of decent speed. The food in the hostel is also good.
Faculty: The teachers are very well experienced and they teach us in a very good manner. The curriculum is relevant to the course what am doing right now. The semester exams are not so tough here to pass. The weightage comes around 40% for sem exams and 60% for internals.
Other: I am very much interested in Ai and Ml course so, I have chosen VIT Chennai as my college. We will have 2 fests per year in which we will enjoy a lot. Each fest lasts for 4 days.

Our campus life is average.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Internships are provided by many top companies like Dell and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Library is great and it has all the resources and books that we required. Classrooms do not have air-conditioners. Wi-Fi is available but does not work properly. The hostels are decent and rooms are clean. Air-conditioned rooms are better. The food served in a mess is decent. Medical facilities are available in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. Their teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is relevant to make us ready for the industry. Semester exams are hard and require a lot of studying to get a good grade because of the relative grading. There are 3 semester exams every semester.
Other: CSE with AI and ML specialisation is a unique branch in this college. It is a unique option, and it will help us to provide us with better chances in placements. Our campus crowd is huge.

It is a good place to experience diversity and explore your interests, but it is very expensive.
Placements: VIT offers great placement opportunities and has been consistently recording 100% placements for the past few years. Most of the top recruiters are service-based companies. We also get offers from product-based companies. You need to maintain a good GPA throughout the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average in VIT Chennai. Hostel Wi-Fi speed is very low and very inconsistent, wherein you won't be able to connect at times. It is also turned off at night. The library is good here, with an ample collection of books and journals. The ambiance inside the library is also great. We also have some good playgrounds and equipment, but it's crowded most of the time.
Faculty: As with most engineering colleges, the curriculum part is a big letdown. It's like fashion design students learning electronics. We do have some good and dedicated professors, but some of our faculty members lack teaching skills and knowledge.
Other: You'll get a good cross-cultural experience at VIT. It's the best place to socialise and get to know many cultures. The events organised are also great.

Placements: The one field in which VIT shines the brightest is its campus placements, especially for the various computer science courses. This is the feature that attracts a lot of high school graduates to take admission to VIT. VIT Chennai and Vellore have a common placement which will be held at Vellore.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at VIT is solid.
Faculty: We have an FFCS system, which allows us to choose the faculty members and the slot timings at our convenience. Faculty members, you get depends on your academics. If your grades are low, do not worry, as all faculty members teach well and are helpful. Most of them are PhD holders.
Other: I have chosen this course because I feel artificial intelligence is the future of computer science and the road where our generation will meet together. It conducts a lot of extracurricular, recreational rooms, and events. Creative students can make maximum use of it. They are very strict about their security and have a lot of guards at work who will catch you if you decide to do something foolish.
