Faculty and placements are good.

Placements: Placements are excellent in this college. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft etc. There is a good scope of placements for CSE and IT students. The remaining students go for higher studies. There is a good scope of getting core job packages in this course.

Infrastructure: Our college is equipped with a hostel, excellent labs, digital spacious classrooms and a well maintained library. They provide a hostel facility in the campus. There are many private hostels near the college for the students. Food is average in the campus hostel. There is a good medical facility.

Placements: The strongest point about AMRITA VLSI department is job opportunities. There are plenty of companies that visited are interested in taking VLSI students even in core computer Science fields. The package for VLSI was 10L in the year 2013. Even few of the student could secure jobs (in computer Science) which are way above than this figure.

Infrastructure: Students should stay in hostels and the rooms are good enough but not great with facilities. Rooms don't have AC. The weather is usually cool so the AC is not needed. The rooms are just good but not very good. The students can be comfortable if they get used to rooms every day, and the weather condition is good. Two fans and two light and shelves are provided. Four students in each room and enough to space live. The food on this campus is pure veg and non-veg is prohibited. The mess quality is not much good here, the students from Tamil Nadu will like the food but other state students should adjust, other state students can adjust not too much bad. The students should adjust for food. Some days the food will be served well on occasion days. Hostel Joining Registration forms will be given to the students in their respective hostels or forms will be provided in online.

Faculty: VLSI DESIGN course constitutes 4 semesters 1st sem: basic and advanced digital circuits, physical design theory, semiconductor theory, analog design, engineering mathematics, and English . VLSI lab 1 includes Verilog basics and simulation. 2nd sem: advanced analog circuits, Static timing analysis, low power Circuits, Reconfigurable circuits/ FPGA basics, advanced digital circuits. VLSI lab 2 advanced verification using Verilog. 3rd sem: Mini project Technical seminar 2 electives Choice 1: DFT or functional verification. Choice 2: static memories or testing methodologies. 4th sem: Major project.

Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetam Coimbatore is definitely one of the best college our nation has.

Placements: 1. only 10% of students were placed in my course 2. The highest salary offered was 5lpa, the lowest 3lpa, and an average salary of 3.5lpa 3. Top recruiters are Ramco, Elgi, Cameron, Cummins, Infosys, TCS 4. Top roles are Assistant engineer, lean manager, Design engineer 5. The highest 5 LPA, the lowest 3Lpa, average salary 3.5Lpa 6. Only 2% got an internship for project work in companies like V Gaurd,Kirloskar.

Infrastructure: 1. Manufacturing engineering branch comes under Mechanical engineering. So we had separate labs for each and every subject with highly advanced machine set up. Classroom was big with projector facility, the whole campus has a Wi-Fi campus which can be logged only through respective roll numbers. There are 2 libraries, one is the department library and second is the main central library. There is even a e-learning facility available in library. 2. There is a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility available in hostels, it was a single room with hot water available from 5 am to 7:30 am. The quality of food was pretty decent, only veg foods are served in the entire campus. No non-veg foods are available or allowed in the campus. There are 3 canteens in the whole campus, all kind of veg items, ice-creams, fruits are available here. Medical facility is available in campus 24x7 which is free of cost. They don't charge for the appointment of doctor. There are 3 main grounds for Amrita University all the games and sports are entertained ( indoor as well as outdoor).

Faculty: 1. Around 85% of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars only 15% of the faculty are M.Tech based. The teachers were very helpful, very much qualified and knowledgeable as well. Teaching quality is excellent at amrita university. 2. Yes this course is curriculum relevant. It makes the student industry ready.

Other: 1. I choose this course because I had to take over my father's business. My course helped me to develop as an individual and learn a lot about the administration and processes in the industrial point of view 2. Everything was well, only the placements was an issue so far. 3. Amrita conducts its technical fest every year in February, there is a huge crowd in the campus in February. Other than fests there are many cultural events celebrated in college every year. One of the main attraction of the scenic beauty of the western ghats. College stands just below the western ghats which adds naturality to the college. GATE students get direct entry to the course with scholarship of 11k per month. Amrita conducts a talent test for which only top students are eligible for 8k per month scholarship till the end of course.

I'm happy to be a part of Amrita Coimbatore. I'm thankful for all teachers and placement department.

Placements: Placements at Amrita are the best. The placement cell in our college provides the best training according to the company, which visit for placements. Almost 95% of the students from the computer science branch will surely get placements. The highest salary package offered in Amrita this year (2019 -2020) was 43 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package of 6 LPA can be offered to an average student. From our class,i.e., M.Tech in CSE branch, almost 99% of the students got internships, and all of them got placed in top companies like Microsoft, GE Power, Oracle, Dell and many more. I am thankful to our placement cell for providing such wonderful opportunities to prove ourselves.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Amrita is the best, and 24x7 Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. There is a 2-storyed building for the library, which is spread across approximately 500 square yards. The library has many course-related as well as non-course related books, and a digital library is another chapter which is the best. Labs are highly sophisticated. The food served in the hostel is very good. Rooms and bathrooms in the hostel are cleanly maintained.

Faculty: Lecturers at Amrita are the best. They help us when we face any difficulty in our course work. They provide support on what we do for the course work, and they give marvellous ideas. They make students comfortable even students are interested in a particular course.

Other: I have chosen computer science in masters as I want to explore new areas in this field. Machine learning, artificial intelligence, image processing and deep learning are the best things about our course. We got the best lecturers for these courses. By doing mini projects in every course which we chose made us know what we are studying and in which we are going to do research. Amrita organises many events where every student will enjoy, and the atmosphere during these events will become like a festival. Anoka is a huge event which is celebrated for three days. Technical fests and cultural fests organised here are amazing. Gokulashtami is one of the events which we won't forget in life, and it is the biggest event organised in the month of August and September. For GATE qualified students, the government provides Rs. 12,400 per month scholarship. During our first year, we will be assigned to a junior lab member which provides the best teaching experience ever. Amrita has the best nature as students can see different types of birds, plants. It's a bliss to study here.

Infrastructure: The institute has a very good infrastructure. It is located away from city which provides a wonderful ambience to the campus. The college is located near forest region and the campus is having lot of trees that provide a nice experience to students for studying, since providing a nice ambience to study is also an important factor of an institute.

Faculty: College has some of the best faculty members in India, the teachers handling classes have completed Ph.D. and that is the eligible criteria for teaching faculty which improves the standard of the college. There are so many faculty members with experience of lot of years.

Amrita college of engineering review.

Placements: The placements are for sure either in the core or IT. Those who work hard get core jobs. On campus, from starting 1st year itself, they teach Math, English and Aptitude, which is a big plus. During college placements, most of the companies ask for Aptitude test. Hence we can crack it easily as we have been taught aptitude earlier. The big companies that visit college are Microsoft, Zoho, Mu Sigma, Amazon, Ashok Leyland. Microsoft offers the highest 16 LPA CTC per year. Average and the lowest is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge. There is a lot of space inside which is very beautiful. It is situated in Ettimadai. The only issue is it is on outskirts of Coimbatore. It is about 2 hours from Coimbatore. So being a day scholar it took me around daily 2 hours to go to the college. It has a railway track inside. The railway station is nearby so you can use them to go to the main city. There is greenery everywhere. All the sports facilities are present inside. You can play cricket, football, table tennis, gym, Basketball, tennis inside. The fee is little costly. The college entrance exam is costly. The college fee is costly when compared to the other colleges in Coimbatore. I used to pay a total of around 1.5 Lacs per year. For 2 semesters and college bus service for a year. The hostel is good and clean. Only Veg food is served. But me being a day scholar I didn't stay at the hostel. The library is big. You can find all the prescribed books in the library. The lab session is good. The only issue is you have to buy a white coat for chemistry labs which is waste of money, and you have college uniform which is bad.

Faculty: The faculty is good. They are helpful. Being autonomous college, the syllabus is difficult, and paper correction is strict. Mostly everyone gets around 7 CGPA. The only issue is they don't have holidays between each exam. So within 24 hours, you have to prepare for next exam which I found difficult.
