IIT Bombay MBA cutoff is above 98.5 percentile for General category students. Admission is based on CAT score and applicants have to meet the cut off in both selection rounds. The MBA course is offered at IIT Bombay’s Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), which is ranked among top 10 management institutes by the NIRF. Naturally, the CAT cut off remains high.

MBA aspirants who score above 95 percentile stand a chance to get a seat at SJMSOM. Last round/waitlist has previously reported selection of candidates in the 91-95 CAT percentile range. The qualifying CAT cut off for IIT Bombay is same as the IIMs. It is the basic requirement that the candidate should have scored at least 90 percentile in the CAT exam to be eligible for admission to SJMSOM.
