Candidates should have either completed or must be in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree to be eligible to apply for IIT Bombay MBA programme. The second most important IIT Bombay MBA eligibility criteria is a valid CAT score. The institute accepts only CAT exam score for shortlisting MBA candidates. IIT Bombay MBA Eligibility Criteria
Candidate who wish to apply for MBA from IIT Bombay SJMSOM need to fulfill the following academic eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from a recognized university.
- Candidates in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. The minimum aggregate of first two years must be minimum 60% criteria (55 % for SC/ST/PWD category candidates)
- International candidates are required to have a valid GMAT score
IIT Bombay MBA Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2026
To be eligible for IIT Bombay MBA programme, candidates have to qualify two selection round.
- In the first round, candidates have to meet the minimum CAT cut off to apply for PI round.
- In the second round, candidates selected on the basis of CAT score have to qualify in the PI to get selected for admission.
