NIT Warangal cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various courses for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota categories. The JEE Main cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for a total of 9 rounds. 

For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 2634 to 60255, wherein BTech CSE emerged as the most competitive course for admission, with the cutoff being 2634. NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

NIT Warangal JEE Main cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various courses, like BTech and Integrated BTech courses, as well as for the Integrated MSc programme. In the first round, the cutoff ranged from 2135 to 27320. In the last round, the cutoff fell between 2634 and 60255. So, considering both rounds, the most sought-after course was BTech CSE, followed by the BTech Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science branch.

NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for SC All India Category

For the SC students belonging to the All India category, the BTech course specialisations cutoff was 375  in the first round, which later increased to 124096 in the final round. According to the first round, the most and least in-demand BTech specialisations at NIT Warangal turned out to be BTech CSE and BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with ranks of 375 and 4778, respectively.

For this category, the last round cutoff ranged from 137 to 158867 for NIT Warangal admission to the BTech, Integrated MSc, and BTech. + MTech courses. For the EWS All India category, NIT Warangal admission for the Integrated MSc courses ranged from 2626 to 76309, according to the closing ranks of the first and last rounds. During the last round, the most difficult Integrated MSc course proved to be the Integrated MSc in Mathematics course, with the cutoff being 39846. On the other hand, the Integrated MSc in Physics was the easiest course for admission, with a cutoff of 76309

NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for PWD All India Category

For this category of students, the JEE Main cutoff was released for various BTech course branches. Students can refer to the table below to know the first and final round cutoff for the same.

BTech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, BTech Civil Engineering, BTech Mechanical Engineering, BTech Chemical Engineering and BTech CSE (AI and Data Science) had the same cutoff in both the first and last rounds, ie, 921, 574, 234, 309 and 40, respectively. This could mean that there was limited seat movement for these specialisations. 

Overall, the most in-demand specialisation considering both the first and last round was BTech CSE, with the lowest cutoff of 40. For more details, see below.

NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for General HS Category

Along with the JEE Main cutoff at NIT Warangal being released for various All India categories, the cutoff was also published for various Home State quota categories, like the General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD for several UG and PG-level courses. 

The JEE Main results for the General AI category for the first and last round can be seen in the table below, according to which, the overall cutoff ranged from 3386 to 47196 for multiple BTech course branches. As per the last round, the most and least sought-after fields were BTech CSE and BTech Biotechnology, with the closing ranks of 4059 and 47196, respectively. 

For the Integrated courses, the JEE Main results ranged from 27667 to 89076 for this category. During the last round, the most sought-after course came out to be Integrated BTech + MTech in Chemical Engineering, with the cutoff being 26701. For more information, see the table below.

The last round cutoff for this category ranged from 6055 to 99645, wherein the top three UG-level courses that had the strictest cutoff in the last round were BTech CSE, followed by BTech CSE (AI and Data Science), and BTech Mathematics and Computing, with the cutoffs of 6055, 7092, and 8379, respectively.

For the SC category students in the Home State quota, the round 1 and last round cutoffs were released for 12 UG-level BTech courses and 3 Integrated MSc courses. As per the first round, the courses which had the least competitive ranks were BTech Biotechnology, followed closely by BTech + MTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and Integrated MSc in Chemistry, with the closing ranks of 6882, 7373, and 7718, respectively. 

BTech CSE had the most competitive rank in the first round at 924 (which later decreased to 1145 by the last round). For more cutoff-related information, candidates should check the table below.

NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for ST HS Category

For this category, the admissions were closed at a rank of 228734 for various courses. On the other hand, for the SC category candidates under the All India quota, admissions were capped at a rank of 158867. Comparing both these ranks, we can say that the competition for the SC HS quota was more relaxed in the last round than the AI quota. 

In the last round, the highest rank was 228734 for the Integrated MSc in Physics course, which meant that the admission for this course was the easiest among all. On the other hand, the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) course had the lowest rank at 79, making the admissions most difficult for this one. NIT Warangal Cutoff 2025 for EWS HS Category

NIT Warangal accepts the JEE Main entrance examination results, followed by the JoSAA counselling process for admission to various BTech and MSc courses. For this category, the most difficult BTech specialisation in the last and first round was BTech CSE (AI and Data Science) and BTech CSE, with the cutoffs of 542 and 421, respectively.   

The aforementioned branches had the cutoff at 79 and 200, respectively, for the ST HS quota. This difference in the ranks for both categories suggests that the competition was more relaxed for this category. Check the table below for the cutoff of other courses for the first and final rounds.

For the PWD HS category students, the cutoff for engineering branches was released for Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials, CSE, Biotechnology, CSE (AI and DS), and Electronics and Communication (VLSI Design and Technology) courses. Students who want admission to any of the above-mentioned specialisations need to attain a rank of at least 680454 or below.
