It has good faculty members and average jobs.
Placements: About 10 percent of students from the overall college's population are placed in my course. The highest package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The average package offered is 2 LPA. The lowest package offered is below 2 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is BFSI. 4 percent of students got internships from our course, as it's a language course, so students focus more on their academics. The top roles offered in my course are teaching and translation.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are a lot of facilities like a good Wi-Fi connection on campus, the library with updated novels, course books, newspapers, magazines, etc. We have good space on campus as well. There is an auditorium, such as a theatre, and 2 buildings, one of which is an old building, and another is new, along with a good crowd. I am totally impressed with the overall environment of my campus.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are amazing, as we get to know a lot of insights from them, whether it be about academics or personal life talks. All professors are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready because this course helps students to communicate well in front of others, which has helped me gain a lot of confidence. Semester exams are quite moderate. My last CGPA was 8.
Other: I always want to pursue literature subjects, and I love reading about the history of English literature, so I chose it. The best thing about my course is that I gained a lot of confidence in myself.

Everything you need to know before joining this university.
Placements: 70 percent of students get placement through our college, which I think is a very good percentage. I do not know much about my course or whether they offer internships. But every year in DU, there are summer and winter internships, which are really helpful for a CV.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, not so bad but not so great. There is Wi-Fi on campus, but the speed is often slow as expected. The canteen facility is good, and the rates are affordable for students. Medical facilities are also available and are excellent. The campus offers every sport.
Faculty: Faculty of my course is excellent. Teachers and seniors are very helpful. The semester exams are not that difficult, just do PYQs and key points. The exams and the curriculum are also great as I get enough knowledge of literature.

It is an affordable college for English Honours.
Placements: College placements were not that good. In my batch, only a few students got the chance for placements. Most of them found jobs off-campus or went for higher studies. I also got a job off-campus based on research. The English language was in high demand, and English Honours could be treated as a professional course. Students didn’t struggle a lot. Students from my batch became English teachers, air hostesses, and content writers in FM. At that time, college placements ranged from 2 LPA to 5 LPA. In my second year, my seniors got placed at MTV TV channel through college placements.
Infrastructure: Bharti College has one of the best infrastructures. Classrooms were smart and fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi was available, but the connectivity was not that good. The library was resourceful, and I always got books. There were enough grounds for events, sports, and fest celebrations. Bharti College's NCC club was very reputable.
Faculty: Faculty was very friendly and understanding. They helped students on a personal basis. If you wanted to do English Honours, you had to push yourself hard. Earning an English Honours degree was not hard at all. Exams could be cracked easily, as English was not a new subject for many. However, to learn something new, you had to give your best. There was enough relevant content besides exams, assignments, presentations, and debates conducted regularly to encourage practical knowledge.
Other: One thing I didn’t like about my college is that Bharti College was an off-campus college. Unlike the South and North campuses of DU, off-campus colleges are the last preference for students. The crowd and connectivity at our college were below average. I didn’t apply for any scholarships, but my classmates did, and they received them. Several scholarship schemes, such as fee waivers on income and reservation. Besides this, Bharti College was affordable. In extra-curricular activities, Bharti College was not the best, but they offered great exposure in every possible field.

Really Good Facilities for All Available Courses
Placements: Ample opportunities in journalism, content writing, editing, PR firms, teaching, advertising, and marketing. More than 60% of the students were offered internships. Younity, Pehchaan - The Street School, and Holograd are some of the companies that provided internships.
Infrastructure: Well-connected library with ample books related to the course. Hostel facilities are great. The mess and canteen serve clean and healthy food. Games like archery, football, and hockey are available at the college. There is also a gym on the premises for the students.
Faculty: Very helpful teachers who are extremely knowledgeable. They provide us with information about the course, exams, as well as placement opportunities. The course curriculum is apt and helps students become ready for the world. Semester exams are challenging.
Other: Easy connectivity. Nearby Janak Puri East metro station. Annual fest is very fun to attend.

The best off-campus college of Delhi University.
Placements: Our college students get placed with the highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and The lowest salary package was 2 LPA. Many students get placed in college based on their results and other factors. Roles offered after completing the course I have opted for are typically that of a professor, content writer, and teaching role.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, and everything else needed is provided by the college. They provide Mat Labs, different classrooms, and a good number of books in the library for students to read and go through. Food available in the canteen and the college café is quite good and affordable for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful and are available whenever we need them. Teaching quality is excellent, and everything is taught up to the mark. Professors are all very knowledgeable and polite with students Semester exams are fair, and anyone who has listened to the teachers in class can achieve a decent pass percentage.

This should not be under the hype.
Placements: The college provides minimal placement advantages. Big companies may not reach for my course and do not reach themselves as in other colleges**;** but, we can still apply and reach out if we opt for some other extracurricular activities or skill-building courses. Top roles in my course are in publishing houses, copywriter, content writer, or translator.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are a little disappointing. However, if we talk about the library, it provides a wide range of study material and other books, and WiFi is also available. The canteen is great in the college, and Bharati College has a separate café apart from the canteen which serves amazing food. The hostel is not so good.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and friendly. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they help students in every way possible. Apart from academics, they guide students as mentors as well. Semester exams are neutral. For my course, the highest CGPA goes to 8.2.
Other: The crowd is no doubt good, and the surroundings are good too. Talking about extracurricular activities, a student can delve into any activity they want. There is a wide range of activities and events conducted.

Bharati College: From infrastructure to it’s campus life.
Placements: There are very less placements made in my course particularly, but the internships and training cell offers some support in providing meaningful training for the placements. However, under the IAPC programme, some students were selected and later referred to some companies for internship, apprenticeship, and community outreach alongside their studies.
Infrastructure: The quality of the canteen is pretty good. We get hygienic food at affordable prices. However, the condition of most computer labs is not great, either there aren't any computers available or the available ones don’t work properly. Every exam is a hassle for the students enrolled in the computer course. The Library is good but the books bank is not very large, only course books are available, but overall it's nice having different sections for different courses.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers of the English department are very insightful and knowledgeable. We can easily approach them for any query that we might have. I don't like the fact that there are marks dedicated for attendance too. Semester end exams are not that difficult if we go through our syllabus once, but the marks distribution is not great. There are 3-10 marks questions and 3 -20 marks questions in the exam.

Good infrastructure and environment.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any internship or placement opportunities in English Hons; you've to find them by yourself. However, in WhatsApp groups, some students share internship and placement offers. Some of the internships are very convenient and paid, offering around 1500, and there are also part-time options.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The new building is very airy but has small rooms with only 2 fans. In summers, it is very difficult to be seated there with more than 25 students. There is no Wi-Fi in our college, and the canteen food is fine, not so good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and also share some useful PDFs during exams. Teachers are well-qualified, and their way of teaching is also good and different. So, basically, teachers are good. The exams in my course are moderate, not very difficult.
Other: In our college, a fest is conducted every year, which is the best thing about the college. Extracurricular activities are also conducted, like sports day and annual day.

With this percentage, you will not get admission in English (H) because it is the second most famous subject which students apply and the cut-off is very high. But if you belong to ST category then you will get admission in Delhi University. For more information regarding admission process, visit

Hi, You can get admission in Bharti College of Delhi University for English honors, only after first or second round of the counselling. But, you will get a seat in this college. So you should keep all the relevant documents ready. Best of luck.
