I am happy overall, canteen food is great but not infrastructure.
Placements: No placements were offered from my course. But in some course, students were placed. Around 20% of students were placed. The maximum salary package offered is 4 LPA. It is a great college for decent opportunities if we are not looking for great placements. It is a good choice.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available. But the college building is nice and clean. Classrooms are spacious but there are no particular classrooms for any course or subject. Teachers teach in any classroom that is available at the moment and inform about this on WhatsApp group so some students miss the class. There is two-floor library but not very big or clean. There is no Wi-Fi available anywhere and also no security at this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are always helpful. But there is very little attention given to studies and students are never asked if they miss classes or even exams. Teachers are knowledgeable but will teach only if the student is interested. Exams are very easy. The pass percentage is also high.
Other: It is a great option I think because it comes under University of Delhi which is a prestigious name. Also, the events and experience include the exposure.

Really a good college which has a good campus and faculty members.
Placements: There are a total of more than 150 students in BA (Hons.) English, which are divided into two sections, and there are various opportunities for students to get the internship, and out of 150, 93 or 94 students got internships, which is a large number. There are various roles offered in the course, like digital marketing, copywriting, journalism, translation, publishing, law, teaching, HR executive, mass communication, scriptwriting, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the whole college is the same, where it provides Wi-Fi, 2 libraries, and labs for different purposes. Along with this, all classrooms are well furnished. There's no hostel facility in the college, but there are various PGs within 1 km of the college for 4k-5k per month.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent in their respective subjects; along with this, they have knowledge of other fields also, which they share with students. The teachers not only teach about books but also about how to be a good human, how to live life, etc. The semester exams are held in two parts, and it's not too difficult to get passed in the examination.
Other: The course B.A. (Hons.) English is not only for getting jobs or getting settled in life, but it teaches us our literature and knowledge about our culture; also, it develops communication skills, and overall, it's a very nice course to be chosen.

Shyam Lal College is excellent.
Placements: In Shyam Lal College, about 50% of students have a placement, and the highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest placement ranges from 2 to 4 LPA, and the faculty is very good and amazing.
Infrastructure: The faculty at Shyam Lal College is very cooperative and helpful. The Wi-Fi is also fast, and the classrooms are well maintained. The library is large and has all types of books available.
Faculty: The teachers at Shyam Lal College are very good and helpful. They are always available to assist students and provide knowledge, and their teaching style is excellent. The semester exams at Shyam Lal College are tough, but the teachers make the difficult subjects feel easy.

Partially satisfied with my experience.
Placements: There were no placements for B.A. English course in our college. Although, they were good for commerce students. There was no internship offered, but there was an exchange programme offered for 1 month in Finland. The process for selection was not good, as the whole class didn't get aware about it and the decision was made internal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average for a DU college. The new building is nicely built with enough facilities available like there is a proper ventilation in the classrooms with fans working which is lacking in the old building. There is no hostel available. The canteen has good food at affordable prices.
Faculty: Faculty overall, was nice. Some of them were not. The faculty of Romantic literature used to just read from the books and dictate us notes. The teacher of Paradise lost was great, she reference well from the background. The curriculum is fine for the students pursuing higher studies, otherwise, it's not. The exam are easy to pass, if you study well throughout the year.
Other: I chose this course because I had interests in books. The best thing about the course is you get to know history with literature perspective.

Better than what people preserve, improved in all the departments.
Placements: There are placement and recruitment cells that conduct their drives once in a while where you can apply and give interviews for further job opportunities. Regularly also some companies and brands do come for internships. On average, the package ranges from Rs. 4-5 Lacs per annum and can range above and beyond. Not all students nowadays look for college internships as now you can look for them on other websites and apps that everyone is aware of.
Infrastructure: The college is NAAC credited A+ college so the infrastructure is really good. Though all these developments have been done in recent times they are working on it. The college is far better than what people will preserve, the library has also been recently developed as well as classrooms have been re-painted and labs are comparatively not that good. There are no hostels on the college campus, the canteen has a lot of variety and is all vegetarian food. Hockey is famous in our college in terms of games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and they are always if you need any help. Even the societies are handled by teacher supervisors they are involved in almost everything. The teachers are well-qualified and they know what they are doing. The course is set up by Delhi University so it is common to all. Passing semester exams depends on the preparation because it is a centralised paper, if you have studied then you will pass the exams.
Other: I chose, this course specifically because I was interested in studying literature. If you are into novels, and critical analysis then this course is for you. There are things that now that I am in 2nd year would like to improve as our course is still very much based upon British poetry and Drama and comparatively there are less core papers on Indian writings. Moreover, each semester there are at least 10 novels in our course and the semester is barely for 3-4 months which is very less time to have a deep knowledge about the novels. Some various events and fests happen on an everyday basis in our college.
