BVM": This college satisfies me because of the good campus, teaching, and excellent placement.
Placements: Talk about my course placement, so it's nearly above average; around 75 to 80% of students are getting placement offers. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. Many companies coming for placement include L&T, Schneider, Hitachi, Reliance, Torrent, Elecon, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. All the facilities available are related to our course. Laboratories are well-maintained. All the machines are very good. Classrooms are very big and the air ventilation is also good. The library is very big; around 15,000 or more books and research papers are available. The hostel is very good. Rooms are big and well-maintained; 3 sharing rooms are available. Attached bathroom options are also available. The hostel's mess food quality is very poor. Some hygiene and quality problems are present in the mess food. Overall, the hostel is good.
Faculty: About teachers, they are well qualified according to their subjects. Many of them have Ph.D. degrees. They have good knowledge of their subjects. The quality of teaching is excellent. Every teacher is student-friendly. The curriculum is relevant to the industry and ready for students. There are 2 mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam conducted by the college. The exam level is above average.
Other: In our college, many functions are held, like cultural events. A tech fest is also held in our college called Genesis. Uddan is our college's big cultural event.

Learning skills and facilities provided by the college are average.
Placements: Students require around 6 to 9+ CPI for placements. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. The recruiting companies are Reliance, L&T, Torrent Power, Worley, Siemens, Adani, Hitachi, and Essar Power (Nayara), etc. Companies like Monarch Innovation and Raychem also recruit. The roles offered are assistant engineer, JE, JD, sales manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi for laptop users and others in the library system. We have many labs according to the course and system learning like EV, robotics, power systems, high voltage labs, machine labs, measurement labs, BEE, embedded systems, microcontroller & microprocessor labs, computer labs, PLC labs, tinkering labs, etc., are available. We have many classrooms, with smart boards and projectors attached in some classrooms. Our department has a library with books on electrical engineering. Our college has 2 hostels, one has all the facilities at a high rate of price, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM time limit, and the other same time limit, but is in bad condition.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful and provide guidance. Some faculty members are Ph.D. holders, and some have Dr. qualification. The teaching quality is good to average. It is helpful for students to learn the industry environment and gain practical skills. The exams are average to hard, and the pass percentage is 59-89% subject-wise.
Other: This year, the demand for electrical engineers has been high, and electrical with AI tools and technology has been updated day by day. The practical information is about industrial projects, working techniques, technical specialties, and skill development. We have many events like Udaan, Genesis, etc. The alumni association provides some scholarships for students.

It's an amazing college for studies and placements in core branches.
Placements: Placements in BVM College are about 80%. Last year's package is around 9 LPA in the mechanical course. The top companies offering jobs in Birla Vishvakarma Vidhyalaya like Tata, Elecon, Infosys, etc. BVM conducts specific lectures for students to get placed in companies. They provide all the skills required, like leadership, initiative, and confidence.
Infrastructure: We have very good infrastructure for the mechanical course. BVM has Smartboards instead of blackboards, making it much easier to understand concepts of topics to be covered. All labs contains air-conditioned. Also, BVM provides hostel facilities for students, which contains AC rooms, non-AC rooms, common bathrooms, and attached bathrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members of BVM are super friendly and supportive. They are also well-qualified, like they have done their Master's and Ph.D. in their specific programme. The course curriculum is almost the best, but recently, they have changed the curriculum for the batch starting from 2024-25, which is according to industry requirements. BVM is an autonomous institute, so papers are very tough to crack if you don't understand topics clearly.
Other: This course is an evergreen course, so we don't have to worry about any market shortage. Mechanical help us get into college which contains like robotics, automation, production, etc. There is a festival called Udaan at BVM that happens every year. By being a part of it, we can have so much fun, get a chance to know everyone and make new friends.

I am satisfied with this college because of the placements and labs. It is a good college.
Placements: In our branch, almost 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are service-based companies located in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. Labs have high specifications and configuration. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. The hostel living is good. Cleaning is done every day but the food is not good. The college does to focus on sports activities only one sports week is organised every year and only one college event in a year.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but their teaching method is boring not so good. The course is relevant. The syllabus is good. It covers every important topic in the subject. The difficulty level is much higher in exams if you don't pay attention in class the exams are hard to crack.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. The teaching method needs to be improved and faculty members are very old. Events are organised once in a year which is much boring part. The college only focuses on studies.

Honest review on BVM, Anand. Satisfied with the faculty members and academics.
Placements: The placement session of 2023-24 was offered the highest package of 15 lakhs per annum and the average package of 6 lakhs per annum. 325 students were placed in the placement session of 2023-24. Every year, companies like TCS, L&T, Reliance Jio, Airtel, etc., visited to offer placements. Internships are also provided by our college with an average stipend of 30,000-40,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average for both hostel and college. Classrooms and libraries are maintained, but the infrastructure is quite old. Facilities are less provided. Sports facilities are below average. The canteen and library are well maintained. Food available in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and contain a lot of experience in teaching. They are very cooperative with students. The course curriculum is good, it helps to meet with the real-world expectations. Semester exams are not too much difficult to score. Every 2 months, there are some exams conducted by the college.
Other: As we are rapidly moving towards the technical revolution in which computer engineers play major roles, so I decided to choose this course. Also, I'm interested in the computer field, it is also one of the reasons. Every year, festivals like Yugantra and Udaan are conducted by our college. There are also several clubs. There are fewer extracurricular activities.

Roller coaster ride of the student life in the BVM.
Placements: In the current year, the placement is nearly 65-75%. The highest package is 9 lakhs, the lowest is 3.5 lakhs, and the average is 4.5 lakhs. The top companies are Rapidops, Motadata, Odoo, Social Pilot, etc. Nearly 80-90% of students get internships in companies like Tatva Soft, Surekha, Simform, etc. The roles offered are junior developer, AI-ML developer, or in the DevOps field.
Infrastructure: The facilities at BVM are good or decent. The campus has labs; some are old, and some are highly equipped. Wi-Fi is there in the library and in each department block, but in the block, it is for laptops only. The college also provides hostel facilities. The rooms are great, but the students have to adjust to the food quality and taste. There are two mini sports events at the college, but they are not very popular.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, but not all. Teachers are qualified, but the skills required to teach students are missing from a few of the faculty. From our time, the course structure is not good; for example, the Python subject is offered in the 7th semester, which makes no sense. The exams are moderate, so everyone can at least pass the exams, and the marking scheme is also good. Nearly 90-95% of students pass the exams.
Other: As the college has a good reputation in Gujarat because it is one of the oldest colleges in our state, it has a good image and placement records, so I chose this college. The interaction of the faculty with the students can be improved for the growth of the students. The events in BVM are decent, and extracurricular activities are very less compared to other or same-level colleges.
