Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).

Generally, our engineering students are free for three to four hours a day, Saturday and Sunday, but it varies from person to person, some students are studying daily, truely speaking 80% of students are studying only at the time of the exam. If you're serious in your studies, then there is a minimum of 2 hours free time to be had for 4 or 5 hours.
