Satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities provided.
Placements: I am Harshit Ahlawat, this side, and I am from the BE CSE course, and the year I'll pass out from this university is 2028. About 70% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package of my course was about 50 LPA, and the lowest was 3-4 LPA, and the median package is 7-8 LPA in this university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Chitkara University is very well maintained, and the hygiene of my university is well maintained with daily cleaning. The libraries, classrooms, and labs are well managed by the authorities. The hygiene of the rooms in the hostels is not well maintained because they are not cleaned daily.
Faculty: The teachers of my course are well-educated, with degree holders and qualified. They help every student in every difficulty they face, but few teachers here just come to complete the syllabus of their respective courses and do not care about the students.
Other: I chose this course because the demand in the market is now for Computer Science and web developers, which we are getting trained for. The curriculum and the faculty should be improved in my course with more advancement. My fee is very decent, like every other college, and the events and fests happen very often.

It's a good college in which students will remain within their limits. It's not like other colleges.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. Main thing is that you have to maintain your CGPA so that you are firstly eligible for placement like in some companies they also keep a criteria of 10th and 12th marks with a CGPA of more than 8, and if the student doesn't fulfill all the criteria then he/she is not able to sit in placement. Main thing to maintain CGPA then afterwards, the skills matter most if there are no skills they cannot achieve a job.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities 24 hour. For students, Wi-Fi facility and libraries are the best. The main thing is strictness so anything wrong cannot happen. There are security guards all over the university. Classrooms are also quite good with good ACs that work all the time, and we have good staff.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teachers are very friendly and creative. They teach us everything in a friendly way so that students can understand, and will make the topic ultra clear, no doubt. The faculty is good and knowledgeable.
Other: As you know computer science, everyone wants to go into computer science to get a good package and a good job so they chose this course.

Students who are well focused and hardworking, can gain a good package from campus.
Placements: Talking about the percentage of students placed, then it's a very small amount. Around 40% of students are there who are getting placement. Rest are studying and preparing. The highest package I heard was 19 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average is like 5 to 6 LPA. Schneider, TechMahindra, and Microsoft are some of the major companies. For internships, around 40 to 50% of students got selected. Roles offered are full-stack developer, software developer, and data analyst. Now a days, ML engineers are also in demand. But there's not any hiring for it right now.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good as it is a private university. Fee is also a bit high There are well-maintained labs, high-speed internet on the whole campus, and separate libraries for each department. Talking about hostels and mess, then it's a problem for some of the students. 70% are happy, but 30% say it's not good. The food is fixed for the whole week. And also, they don't get the good taste of it. Hostel rooms are very small, and a real problem occurs in summers when coolers don't work properly.
Faculty: Curriculum is well planned but not well executed. There are a handful of teachers who are willing to support and work hard for their students. The majority of them just pass the time, do the formalities, and run. Also, teaching is an art that many of our faculty members should need to learn. Semester exams are not very difficult. Coding exams might give some difficulties. A student needs to earn 40% per subject to pass it for a semester. Courses don't make students well prepared for industries, but their self-education and hard work do.
Other: I have chosen this course due to the increasing demand of the software and AI/ML industries. Also, companies offer a good package if the student is capable of these skills, like AI engineer, web developer, data analyst, and so on. The college should offer more teacher talks and industry visits to students. They should also hire good teachers who actually have the talent to teach. Talking about events and functions, Chitkara offers a number of events for students to enjoy, so that's good.

It is value for money, you can come.
Placements: The placement opportunities in our college are overall very satisfying. Our college gives you a very large platform to show your skills. There are a lot of companies that come to our college. The package is also good. Your placement is based on your skills.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, but the new building is a little bit off. In the rain, the roof contains water. Mess food is good for eating. Students enjoy eating it. Classrooms are very good and fully air-conditioned. The library is also nice and fully air-conditioned. You can set the vibe.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is well qualified and supportive. They are friendly you can ask your dobuts anytime. They will help you to clear this. The exams are not so difficult you can easily passed the exam and sxore good so don't take tension.

Placements and college review.
Placements: Placement rates are good, around 15-20 get placed for 12 LPA-15 LPA, others for 6 LPA-8 LPA. Multiple companies come to hire students and recruit them on the basis of skills and achievements. Many companies do hire on packages more than mentioned above, and many students crack internships too.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. Wi-Fi works well. Classrooms are well organised, air-conditioned, with nice benches, smart boards, white boards, and blackboards. Charging points for laptops and mobile phones are provided in every classroom, and spacious classroom ventilation is provided in every classroom.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and follow professionalism. They are friendly, ready to table doubts, solve problems, and teach with real-life examples. We can also have one-to-one doubt problem-solving sessions whenever the student needs. Exams are also very student-friendly.

Review of engineering colleges near Chandigarh.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed in the last year if they do not have any backlogs, as Chitkara University is famous for its mass placements. The highest package goes up to 25 LPA, whereas the average package is 3-4 LPA. Almost everyone is supposed to get an internship in the 6th semester. Some get internships in small industries, while others get them in big companies like iOS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is not very good as it is very small. The buildings are not so big. Hostellers are asked to attend classes in the evening, between 4:00 PM and 9:30 PM. Classes have proper Wi-Fi connections, and the library has all academic-related books but not other books. There are clubs for co-curricular activities, and all sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Facilities are qualified enough. Teachers who teach are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing their Ph.D. They all are very helpful and knowledgeable, but the backup teachers are not as impressive. The curriculum is up-to-date and according to industry needs. Exams are held three times a semester, along with the end-term exam. Exams are either moderate or hard.
Other: I chose CSE after watching its need in current industrial life. My course is very useful and very much needed in today's world. I wish to start an internship in the second year of my course this is one thing I would like to improve. A lot of fests happen every year, along with extracurricular activities and hackathons. But, the college does not provide any scholarships, even on a merit basis.
