Our college offered excellent placements in 2020.
Placements: Almost 3-4% of students were placed in this course. The average salary package offered was almost 4 LPA. The highest package was 8 LPA. Many companies such as Siemens, Picasso, Wipro, Lenovo, and Dell came here. Around 60% of students applied for internships. Roles offered were groundwork and managing employees.
Infrastructure: Facilities are great. The campus has new buildings. Wi-Fi is available with great speed. The library is regularly updated with new books. The quality of food served is also good, and the hygiene is pretty good too. There are sports arenas such as basketball and badminton courts, cricket grounds and volleyball nets too.
Faculty: Teachers here are very knowledgeable, skillful, and kind too. They are always keen to help students and are softspoken too. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant, and they make us both physically and mentally prepared for the challenges. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 74%.
Other: I chose this course because my greatest aspiration is to become a managing director. Teachers for our course and the infrastructure are the greatest positives. The only thing I'd like to improve is Wi-Fi connectivity in the hostel. There are events every 6 months like disco night and singing competitions.

I am satisfied with the college because of the best facilities with great infrastructure.
Placements: Nearly 50% of the Chitkara University students get placed. Some of the major recruiting companies for mechanical engineering students were Reliance, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda, Eaton, SML Isuzu, Yamaha, L&T, and Escorts. So placements are good as compared to other private engineering colleges.
Infrastructure: Chitkara University has good Wi-Fi facilities and good infrastructure is available for mechanical engineering. I am a day scholar, so I don't know much about hostels, but the mess and canteen facilities are good. The university has top sports facilities including an all-weather athletics track, cricket ground, football grounds, hockey fields, handball field, tennis court, basketball courts, and baseball court.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and they are helpful too. Semester exams are mostly easy. Moreover, it depends upon your preparation. However, due to the covid pandemic, our exams were held online. so the exam pattern was changed to MCQ type. Maybe because of this the exams are easy.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to be a mechanical engineer

I am satisfied with Chitkara University as it has wonderful facilities, support and guidance.
Placements: Students who scored more than 75% in their academics are eligible to sit in the placement and should not have any backlogs. The highest salary package offered for B.E in mechanical was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered varies from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was of 3 LPA. All companies/industries come from the HVAC industries, which is an additional benefit for us because our university staff make us employable by giving a lot of webinars, industrial visits, seminars, etc. Around 90-95% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: We have a world-class infrastructure. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, smart classes, lot of models and things to do are available for students. An indoor play game centre along with basketball, tennis, volleyball, and a lot of things are available to explore ourselves there. The food served is delicious and awesome in quality and quantity. For medical facilities, our university has collaborated with Gyan Sagar Multi-Specillaty hospital, which is just 100m from there. So I think nothing is left for a student who is willing to do study there.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and supportive. We can approach them whenever we have doubt. All mentors, teachers, and professors are highly qualified with a lot of industrial experience. They are over-delivering the content for the industry point of view. They give us expert talk seminars, webinars on online platforms, and virtual visits to the industry from which we get clarification towards our work ethics, the culture which is going to be part of us.
Other: I chose this course because I found there is something different, knowledgeable, curious to this particular HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) field/industry. It seems to be a new or growing industry. I want to increase the interaction between the students and the professor who is going to teach us and I believe that is possible by giving the students more related facts or examples of the topic that they teach. There are a lot of events and extra-curricular activities, cultural programs, fest, and DJ parties. Students also got a chance to interact with experts weekend that's running all month, in a year. This university does not stop even a single day which is a great thing about it.

Our college has a good infrastructure and facilities and good placements.
Placements: I am a student of B.E in a mechanical engineering course. There is a total of 52 students in our course. Our college informed us that the average salary package ranges from 3 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance and Bosch. I am currently in the 5th semester, so internships have not been offered yet.
Infrastructure: We are provided with a unique email Id for our college use, and a Chalkpad account to check all our details related to attendance, marks, results, updates about everything going on in the university. There is a Wi-Fi facility on every floor of the building, and there are medium size labs with efficient cooling. There are great classrooms for studies and one library in our building with many books. As I am a day scholar, I do not know much about the hostel. However, I have heard from my friends that the food served in the mess is either not bad or not great. Our university provides great medical facilities with an infirmary, ambulance and nearby hospitals. Great sports and games facilities are available to enjoy, including indoor games and outdoor sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and quite qualified to clear all our doubts. They have good knowledge which is needed to teach us the subject. Their teaching quality is also quite good, which helps to focus on studies, but also it isn't much good to cause some kind of anxiety. The course curriculum is relevant, and subjects are divided equally over the semesters, which makes it easy to study without extra burden. It makes students industry-ready with practical knowledge as well.
Other: I am a student of 2018 batch, and I am pursuing B.E in mechanical engineering course (4 years degree). I will be passed out in 2022. The reason for me to choose this course is I have an interest in automotive, and the university provides good placements in this field. I suggest our college to use more infographics like animations to make the topic clear. Many events, fests and extracurricular activities are conducted by different societies, which allow every student to participate in them.
