All about Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Engineering College.
Placements: 80% students were placed in 2023, with companies like AMAZON, SYNTEL, TATA, etc. The highest package is 72 Lacs p.a., the lowest package is 3 Lacs p.a., and the medium package is 6-8 Lacs p.a. Internships are offered by the college itself in the 3rd year, but if you don't do anything in college, you will not get any internship, etc. No one will entertain you.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work in the college, but you have a good mobile internet range. Facilities are very good and very supportive in my course. Akshay sir from Programming and Shankar sir from Mechanical were very supportive in my projects. I don't know about the hostels, but you get some good P.G. accommodations near the college. In December 2024, the rent is 5k/month in a P.G.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but they should add more programming things in the syllabus. Semester exams are held twice a year, in winter (December) and summer (May). Between every semester, there are 2 unit tests, for a total of 6 tests in a year (4 unit tests and 2 semester exams). Semester exams are not difficult if you obey the teachers and do all that they tell you to do.
Other: I am passionate about robotics, and practical knowledge should be increased. The syllabus can be more accurate from a robotics perspective. Bharatiyam is a very big fest held every year in the college.

Our college offers good course and facilities.
Placements: As this course is newly added, so we don't know much about placements. But BVP is a reputed college so I think when we reach the fourth year, that time companies may start doing placements for robotics and automation too.
Infrastructure: I don't know much about the hostel, but the course infrastructure is up-to-the-mark. The library facility is also available in both ways, offline and online. In our college, labs are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable too. They teach every topic thoroughly with handwritten notes. Teaching quality is also good, and you will be able to understand the concept clearly. College also provides 15-16 days of preparation leaves before the end sem exam which is quite helpful for students.

The college experience is average and needs betterment.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students of our batch got placed till now. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. The highest package is 11 LPA offered to one student by Alliance Bernstein. Top recruiting companies for our course are Hashedin by Deloitte, ICICI Lombard, and HSBC. Only 2-3 students got internships from college.
Infrastructure: The main building has facilities like a projector, good classrooms, etc. The building for mechanical and robotics students is old. Labs is upgrading eventually but the overall condition of college is average. Hostels are old. There is one hostel for girls which is in a new condition but it is even costlier than the college fees.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Practical files and some submissions are unnecessary and expensive. Semester exams are easy for some branches while tough for core branches. The pass percentage is usually 85-90%. The course curriculum needs to be better.
Other: I chose robotics and automation but they are teaching us mechanical engineering.
