COEP: The dream college of every student.
Placements: Placements in the College of Engineering, Pune are very good as compared to the other colleges. Many top companies visit the college campus for recruitment every year. All top companies visit here for placements. Internships are very good in college. Nearly everyone gets internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a bit of an issue here. Often, there are connectivity problems. The infrastructure is good in the college. There are well-equipped libraries in the college with thousands of quality, useful books, which is good. Mess food is also okay, but in comparison with other colleges, it is very good. Sports facilities are also very good as the college is represented in every sports competition.
Faculty: Good faculty members are in the college. The teachers here are very knowledgeable and are always ready to help if approached. Teachers are helpful. The course pattern is mostly industry-oriented. The exams are tough and sometimes even difficult, but with regular studies, you can crack exams.
Other: The college has its own reputation. The college is very good in all aspects. Events and fests are very good. There are frequently organized events which are very good for the college.

It's a good college in terms of events, opportunities, but academics are not as good as I thought.
Placements: About 95% got placement in the CSE branch. The highest package was 17 Lacs and the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and TCS. Most of the students got internships at JP Morgan. Most of the students are placed as Junior software developers.
Infrastructure: I am totally satisfied with the infrastructure that COEP provides. It has Wi-Fi all over the campus, large classrooms that can accommodate 100 students, a library having all types of books, cleanliness and hygiene are well maintained in the college. The hostel also provides all the necessary things like Wi-Fi, a bed, a fan, a bathroom, cleaning, etc. Mess is also good. Sports are also part of our academics.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are helpful. They are kind and generous. They have enough knowledge about their subject. Not all, but some of them have extremely good teaching skills. Some subjects in the 1st year are not at all relevant, like history, Biology, and EDG. I think college should remove these subjects from the CS branch syllabus. Exams are quite difficult for me. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: CSE is an evergreen course, and also nowadays it's in trend like AI and ML. It keeps us up-to-date with the pace of the technology revolution. Removing non-relevant subjects is the best thing a college can do. Events are amazing here. Enjoying each event.

Helpful faculty, updated syllabus, and easy-to-clear exams make COEP a great engineering college.
Placements: About 80% to 85% of placements are there in my college. The highest package is reached at 55 LPA, the lowest is 4.5 LPA, and the average is about 8 LPA to 9 LPA and the average for CSE branch is about 15 LPA to 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Deshaw, TCS, Tata Motors, Bharat Electronics, etc. There are around 270 companies that visited the college this year. Internship percentage is about 90%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is good on the hostel campus but poor in college campus, especially in labs. There is no Wi-Fi and also no network. Food quality is very good in mess and the canteen of the hostel is poor. Sports facilities are very good. Big ground is there for COEP. Students and doctors are available in hostel. Gym facilities are also for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Semester exams are average and not too much difficult but faculty members for the CSE department are not experienced in other departments they are good. Course is irrelevant practical knowledge is not given here and theory is not properly taught. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with regular study, students can do well. The pass percentage is usually high around 85%.
Other: There are 25 plus clubs in college and 5 fests are other which are very big, clubs like debate youth parliament, civil services, tech clubs, cultural club, drama club, NSS, and many more are there. Scholarship provided from alumni, Sakal Foundation, Cybage Khoosboo, Catalyst, etc.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: Talking about College of Engineering Pune, the percentage of students placed last year was around 93%. The highest on-campus package offered is 50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mastercard, PayPal, Infosys, Paytm, etc. Most of students got internships last year. The roles were web designing, app development, AI/ML intern, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for college is good but for hostel it has to improve. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in college and hostel too. There is a facility of library. Classrooms are well-maintained. Talking about hostel mess, food is the overall average. Canteen has lots of varieties of food items like samosas, roll, etc. The court is pretty good in terms of sports and games as it organizes lots of sports events so I will give 10/10 for its sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is brilliant. Talking about the course curriculum is up-to-date and very useful for industries. Semester exams are slightly difficult. Pass percentage is about 30-35% for the semester exam.
Other: I chose this course as it's the topmost course of this college in terms of placements and value. Lots of extracurricular activities are there for CS students also to get deep knowledge of programming and participate in the hackathon.

College is great for placement, but the moderate facilities, and I recommend this college.
Placements: 90% of students in the computer engineering branch get placed. The highest package was 52 Lacs, and the lowest was 4 Lacs. Many companies like DE Shaw, JP Morgan, Wipro, etc., hire students directly from college. Therefore, placements at the college are good, and securing internships is easier due to the college's reputation in Pune.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well-maintained but average. The facilities also feel average. The hostels are good, and the mess food is quite decent and reasonably priced. There are many excellent clubs for sports and other activities. Medical facilities are improving.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is quite good. The course syllabus is relevant compared to other universities. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but due to relative grading, it is easier to pass harder subjects
